The first time I took my wife out for dinner was at Domaine Anna and we fell in love with the place and decided back at that time in 2004 to have our marriage celebrated there...Well some years later, in 2007 we had our reception instead there near the waterfall, it was really awesome, a wonderful experience, the food was delicious, the location simply like out of this world, the service excellent...A day to remember and cherish indeed and people who work there made it possible!! Though when we usually eat inside the restaurant, the only problem is noise, too much noise around with barely a music, it's rather a murmur and there are either too few waiters or too many people around as it is always difficult to get one waiter available to attend to our needs in between the meals if ever we need something but apart from that when we are assigned a waiter we do have someone to receive our orders and serve us the food...Anyways the place for us bears another more important meaning!!!

That's a really beautiful place with a superbe setting. The waterfall with tables around is wonderful. The food was really really good and we received quite a good service. One drawback maybe was the price of the food. I personally thought that their prices were a bit too high as compared to other restos around. But if are looking for a romantic place with a beautiful setting I would definitely recommend it!!

Domaine Anna Restaurant is really the precious diamond in the cave. Despite it's low accessibility, it is very famous and you better reserve before going there. Once there, first thing is the atmosphere.. which is very relaxing, beautiful (especially if you book a table near the pond) and welcoming. Then, of course, the food: which comes with an excellent service and also quite cheap as well! But there nothing cheap in the quality... their food is very well prepared, tasty and feel very fresh, although there is not much very exotics on the menu... but even the basic appetiser are delights! I highly recommend you to have a go at their soups! However, I'm disappointed that the menu only have the usual dishes when I think that the atmosphere there, deserved a more exotic meal than Fried rice(which was heavenly good though). Then desert... again, I felt like a bit of a lack of choice but a nice classic ice-cream is always welcomed. Overall, it is a beautiful place that is worth going and no-matter the restricted menu, but then... I can live on Fried rice all my life!!! (^__^) Do have a try of it!!! PS: did I mention the big fishes...

Well, I have to say that in general the food and service is ok. But it will seriously depend on the night. I have stopped counting the various times Iv been there and it is not consistent in its food quality and service as well. Even in its ambiance. But generally will recommend but not on busy and crowded nights!

Nous avons mangé dans ce restaurant le vendredi 26 novembre 2010 à la table 39 dans un des 3 pavillons sur le petit lac. Aucun accueil à l'entrée ; il a fallu trouver la table réservée par nos propres moyens! Service pourri ; les serveurs et serveuses n'avaient aucune manière, aucun sourire, aucune présentation. Ils ont même réussi à échapper un plat dans le petit lac au grand plaisir des poissons!! Je soupçonne une hiérarchie parmi les serveurs entre anciens plus âgés et nouveaux plus jeunes auprès du cuisinier. Entré à 19h, servi seulement à 21h, une attente inacceptable Nourriture coussi-coussa ; tous les plats goûtent l'assaisonnement chinois! Ce ne devrait pas être le cas pour un restaurant de cette réputation. Je pense que ce restaurant repose sur une réputation surfaite. Dommage dans un si beau décor! Les restaurants de la Route Royale à Flic en Flac sont meilleurs!!

You go there for the atmosphere and then for the food. The food quality is good and service is very good. Mostly Chinese as offer and better not venture to ask for more western style food. They can do it but this is not really for what you go there to eat. In a nutshell if you are looking for a place to invite close friends, don't hesitate to book there. They will like it. Price /Quality wise- it is a winner.

We went there during a week-end, at night. It was a pleasant environment, though the table was a bit dark. The food was OK, but not many variety. Almost the same general kind of food other restaurants provide and mainly Chinese cuisine. We were expecting more gastronomical variety. To portion of food was good, too. Drinks, we tried the mocktails and were fine. Starters were not enough for the price, I think. Service was excellent though at some point the waiters seemed not to cooperate b/w themselves. One was blaming the other for something, before the clients. So, was not that professional. The price is OK, too. We'll definitely go back some day when we are around f-en-flac.

Amazing experience and excellent service. Being on holidays in mauritius, a friend recomended me this restaurant. As i arrived there, the environment was incredible. The welcoming with these two ladies at the entrance was just so warm meaning better to come. we were seated by the lake, a nice waiter called "vanesen" came to us and explained the menu. We want to thank him for his professional service just excellent. Food was amazingly good. We will definitely come back and make sure we have this waiter again

As someone mentioned before, the reputation of Domaine Anna precedes everything. No doubt the atmosphere is nice and the surroundings is great, but there's more to this. I have been there a few times now, and one thing is the good service i receive. But if one looks at the bigger picture, for a restaurant of this reputation, one should expect more from the menu. I think i have seen the same menu for the past 3-4 yrs.

Fantastic experience. I ordered scallops, garlic butter king prawns and wood fired roast lamb; it was absolutely delicious. The lamb was fresh and roasted to perfection and sliced classically as a traditional roast and served with chips and salads. I have been there quite a few times and I will highly recommend the restaurant. It has been able to keep its standard since it opened and the atmosphere is great as well, be it during the day or at night.

What a beautiful place !! The ambiance is great and looks magical at night. The food never disappoints and the service is super. I would certainly recommend it to everyone who enjoys Chinese food.

I always recommend this restaurant to people visiting Mtius. It is clean, great customer service, there are a mixture of cultures therefore a great vibe to the place. Most of all the toilet is clean and the food is excellent. A bit pricey, but well worth every penny you spend. Would definitely go again and again

i went twice to Domaine Anne over last 7 days. Service is absolutely shocking. waiters are useless in taking orders, are always confused, never bring you what you have ordered, keep asking you several times what you have ordered ages ago. brought the wrong food. could not explain what type of fish they had for steam fish. and worst are impolite. food was average. ordered a fried rice with egg and prawns and could not see any prawns. NEVER and NEVER again will i set foot there. i will make sure that this is publicised to my network of friends.

The best restaurant i have ever been in Mauritius. Nice atmosphere, nice food, affordable prices.... WOW! i have been there soo many time.... :)

Restaurant is set in a nice atmosphere, reserved for 5 outside but got a table in restaurant,then transfered to outside kiosk, food was great, fresh, not too greasy, service was good, winelist a bit too short, restaurant is huge, like in cruises,

We have organized the 60th birthday party of my parent for around 70 seats. Atmosphere was greatly romantic with dim light effect, the restaurant was warm, cozy and so awesomely decorated. Food was refined,excellent and abundantly provided. Relatives were highly satisfied. What I appreciated mostly is the service provided by the waiters headed by Mr Patrick and Kamal. My sincere thanks to them cause without them the birthday party would not have been that highly serviced. The waiters were attentive to each relatives' needs and obeyed to timely orders given by the host. They even improvised for additional cutlery. Polite, respectful and so caring towards my guests. Hats off to this institution. I also never have witnessed such professionalism in ambiance and orchestra. The musicians and singers knew perfectly how to stimulate guests into dancing till past midnight. Nice experience which I shall recommend to anyone. By the way, the charges is worth it.

Domaine Anna was recommended to me by a close friend in the UK (London) and we organised a visit there, in part, for a ‘congratulations’ meal following my sister-in-laws recent graduation. We visited http://restaurants.mu/ as a first point of call to reserve our place and read the balanced reviews prior to our visit. Domaine Anna is located on route to Flic-en-Flaq and is in the middle of sugar cane fields. Ideal commute to the restaurant would be by car. There were ample parking spaces. Upon entering the premises, the feeling was one of an adventure with a miniature backdrop waterfall providing soothing sounds to fully seated dining tables as one would expect on a Saturday evening. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was enhanced by a fireworks display hosted by a wedding reception taking place that same evening. Seated at table 36 with an elevated view of the fireworks display and within earshot of a live band, we ordered a mixture of poulet, calamar, king prawn and poisson dishes. All dishes arrived hot and fresh with explanation provided on each main dish as they arrived. The impressive serving technique from main dish to our respective plates was slightly impaired by the waitress not explaining to us what each dish was prior to serving. Given the high number of customers, the service level maintained was attentive, polite and helpful and no rush was placed to finish our meal. We most enjoyed the tranquil ambience and the opportunity to walk around the complex after our meal taking numerous photos of the various features on display such the waterfalls and the broad variety of tropical fish. The slight dislike we would mention would be the time taken for our meal to arrive given the maximum seated number of customers but the portions were of reasonable size, tasty and therefore good value for money. As the evening progressed the live band featured some very talented singers with customers dancing to the beats through to the late hour. In summary, we would highly recommend a visit to Domaine Anna and would not hesitate to return in the near future.
