I've been lucky enough to visit Domaine Anna 3 times over the years, on holidays to Mauritius. Just back from recent holiday and their standard, if anything, has improved yet further. From taking the time to discuss menus for a large party earlier in the day, to fantastic service in the evening, the staff could not have been more polite, helpful & attentive. The food was absolutely superb - we ordered a set seafood meal that everyone, from small children to elderly relatives, enjoyed immensely. The highlight for me was the lobster, but all the dishes were superb. The scenery and ambience is wonderful - if you go on holiday to Mauritius, you simply must visit this restaurant - it is unique. I'm already looking forward to our next visit !

Nous avons presque attendu 1 heure pour avoir nos plats et quand ils sont enfin arrive, ils etaient froid!De plus, ils se sont trompes sur la commande. Ensuite, le serveur a repris nos plats pour les rechauffes et est revenue 10 min plus tard mais une seule des assiettes etaient chaude. Nous avons demande si la langouste etait fraiche, le serveur a dit oui mais etant moi meme un Chef, je peux faire la difference entre frais et congele, La langouste qu'on m'a servi n'etait pas fraiche vu sa texture!!! Nous avons demande a parler a un manager mais personne n'est venu car ils etaient soi-disant occupe. Il est important de savoir que les legumes sont cuit a l'avance et garde dans un bain marie et perdent donc leurs saveurs et couleurs. En ce qui concerne les legumes, le serveur nous a dit que les legumes sont simplement des decorations, pensez-vous vraiment que des frites sont suppose etre servi froides !? (completement absurde) et pour finir, il est ecrit sur le menu 'Les pris sont indiques en rupees mauricienne, taxes comprises' OR sur notre addition nous avons du payer la TVA !!!!

Since moving to Mauritius 11 years ago my wife & I have used this restaurant regularly for celebrations of birthdays, anniversaries & public holidays as well as taking visiting relatives & family. Without exception all concerned have enjoyed their experience of the delicious food & drink & the friendly service given by the staff. From Mr. Kenny the manager & the excellent lady maitre d to the waiting staff, you are treated as a valued customer.mit is no wonder that so many people are regular return customers who recognize good value for money.

Arrivés dans un cadre somptueux vers les 20 heures... nous avons commandé les boissons et les mises en bouche - service jusqu'ici très agréable et professionnel. Malheureusement les choses devraient se corser après avoir commandé les plats - nous avons attendu plus d'une heure et demie avant d'être servis, ceci dans un manque total de cohérence, et non sans avoir demandé à maintes reprises ce qu'il en était de l'arrivée des plats Jugez-en vous-même: un poisson avec une sauce à l'ananas, servi sans sa sauce, trop frit, et donc très sec... La sauce? arrivée une bonne demi heure plus tard...! Les planches à grésiller, servies - quatre en même temps, la dernière bien plus tard. L'entrée et les plats servis en même temps... La raison de tout cela: un petit problème en cuisine, une excuse bredouillée à la va-vite, et "Pour vous faire oublier tout ça, on vous offre le dessert!"... Essayez donc de faire passer un dessert après avoir mangé un poisson gras sans sauce et sans saveurs... un truc à vous faire gerber!!!!! :( Nous étions partis pour une soirée mémorable eh ben ma foi nous ne sommes pas près de l'oublier... de l'arnaque à plein nez. Le but principal quand vous allez au restaurant c'est surtout de passer un moment de détente, dans un cadre agréable, (et dans notre cas de se retrouver avec des cousins venant de France après plus de treize ans...!), pas de mendianer un dessert en guise de récompense (ou de "graisse-la-patte" pour un cafouillage total au niveau de votre service)...! Vraiment décu, et en colère. Soyez rassurés messieurs, vous n'êtes pas prêt de me revoir de sitôt!!!!!! Malheureusement la note zéro pointé n'existe pas sur ce site!

RESTAURANT DEVENU TROP CHER, ET DE PLUS EN PLUS CHER. PUIS ILS NE REPONDENT JAMAIS JAMAIS AU TELEPHONE. COMMENT RESERVER UNE TABLE??? (PAS POUR MOI BIEN SUR) POUR LES RICHES

All was great until my prawn dish arrived. The prawn was rotten & the staff failed to accept this, then accepted & failed to apologise & then charged for the dish on the bill. I am very disappointed.

Best restaurant

I was at your restaurant todayand I was served a spoiled soup ( fruit de mer mauricienne) , 1 potion of calamar croustillant ( the worst of what I ever had) and was charged for two plates, a special fried chicken prawn and eggs rice , was served a soggy rice with nothing just few pieces of chicken, a sichuan calamari but far from what a sichuan is supposed to be, an indescribable flavor, so bad. Very sad that your service and food quality has gone down that much. It’s like you are stealing people money. Maybe you should consider to close down before someone poisoned from the food served at your restaurant, yes I’m not exaggerating, it’s damn bad

One of my best place to eat with family and friends. Very cosy and food very good. All my friends and relatives whom I took there have always been very delighted.

Tout d'abord l'accueil de Sonia, la propriétaire des lieux,a été chaleureux tout en restant professionnel. La qualité des plats servis, la fraicheur des produits leur diversité et quantité sont exceptionnels. Les crevettes géantes sont tout bonnement délicieuses, servies avec un riz frit et des légumes du pays croquants et savoureux. le cadre est enchanteur, calme et en retrait. Les serveurs sont parfaits. Allez-y vous ne serez pas déçus

Great food..great service and great price! what more would you expect? with friends or family this is the place to go!

Le restaurant Domaine est d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix. De plus, l'ambiance est trés chaleureuse et correspond bien à l'accueil mauricien. Tout y est agréable, le décor, le personnel et les patrons, et surtout les petits plats concoctés avec beaucoup de savoir-faire. A recommander.

Restaurant typiquement mauricien, excellente cuisine,bons caris,la cuisson des ourites et calamars est parfaite ce qui n'est pas le cas dans beaucoup de restos. Les plats sont suffisamment copieux et toujours succulents. Les prix sont très abordables,pour 4 personnes dernièrement,plat,dessert, boisson,un peu plus de 1100 roupies. Une adresse à retenir.

I was at Domaine, for the first time, yesterday with my family. We ordered drinks, which came quite quickly. Starters also came after a 10 minutes wait with a lot of confusion. There were 4 vegetarians in our group and 2 vegetable soup were ordered, however to our surprise, the waitress brought two bowls of chicken soup in front of the vegetarians. We then had to wait for the veg soup to be brought to the table. We then ordered our main course meals. Ordering was fine. Waiting was excruciating. We ordered the main at 19:45 and at 22:00, there was still no sign of food, we only had empty plates in front of us and nearly empty glasses of drinks. We asked the waitress and were told it would be there in 10 minutes. We waited, while our hunger and impatience started taking over. Once, finally, the main course came. Some of the food was warm, not hot as it should be. The vegetarians in our group ordered lentil soup, vegetables fried, and farata. Luckily for the vegetarians, their food came first to the tables. While the meat-eaters had to wait another 10 minutes. When one member of family (vegetarian) started having the lentil soup, she noticed something rough and hard texture in the soup while in her mouth. She took it out and put it on the nearest plate. Horribly that rough/hard textured material were pieces of crab scales/body in the lentil soup. We went to the counter and asked to speak to the manager. The person at the counter said she will call the chef. The supposed 'chef' (a guy in black jeans and t-shirt with a bowler hat) came to speak to us. We told him we found this and asked what happened and we said we will not be paying for this cheap disgusting service, the only response from the 'chef' was, without ANY apology whatsoever for the fact that a vegetarian just found crab pieces in their lentil soup in their restaurant, said he will remove all the food from our tables, which he did get the waitress to do. They took all the remaining food off the table, some partly eaten, some not. We had our drinks and left without giving them a penny. That restaurant does not deserve a single penny for the cheap disgusting service they provide. I still wonder, how can one have crab pieces in a vegetarian lentil soup. What the hell actually goes on in Domaine's kitchen? Are they mixing remainings from other people's plates to serve to other customers? Where is the hygiene and ethic? And lastly, what did they do with the foods they removed from our table? Most probably, someone else must have had it, unknowingly. Avoid this restaurant like the plague! You will never guess what you can get in the food you order nor will you know where the food came from!

Had an awesome time at this place. Excellent service with good food variety. Its is one of best restaurant i have visited so far. Had the starter within 10 mins and main course arrived after 15 min. The atmosphere was cozy and music was good. Even had a small dance floor where we could enjoy the rest of the night. Price for starters main course are really good compared to restaurant in Port louis with less quality foods. It is a must to visit this place. I will surely be going there again to enjoy the other foods available. I personally had a soupe crab and it was really good. The sea food sizzling was ok but the lamb sizzling was awesome.

Tonight I came with two friends for a small dinner. We took three bol renverser special and three chopine pearona. The ashier man charged us rs 535 instead of rs 435. We were in a hurry as the guy with whom we came is getting married next week needs to return home quick for an urgent personal matter. Inadvertently we made the mistake of paying higher and when we arrived home we realized our mistake. The cashierman says machine has a problem some it makes rs 535. Since im a regular customer i can say my loyalty to this restaurant is waived now. The restaurant management can see my photo n camera to investigate if they want.

Indeed, for the 1st time I went to the restaurant and I really appreciated the atmosphere, the food, the service... the food is undoubtedly delicious specially the sea foods.... one of the best place and cheapest place for quality food....

Service too slow... 40 minutes and counting just to have a main course. Even the waiter cant advise what time the main course would be available.

Domaines Du Moulin A Vent Restaurant - Petit Raffray, the biggest deception ever experienced. Impressed by the loads of promises by the owner, we organized a very special event paying huge sum in cash, as insisted by him. But the latter left no stone unturned to make the event into the worst of experiences. The service quality, decor (a simple white tent with just some pitiful lights and cheap candles) as well as the food was simply horrible, not to mention the rodents and dogs saying hello to the guests. The restaurant staff behavior and party atmosphere, with a drunk DJ, was so horrific that many guests left early, without food and promised never to come back again to such an awful place. A big applause to the restaurant owner, whose behavior acted as the cherry on the cake. His rudeness upon complaining about the service quality, location hygiene and employees behavior was memorable. Not only the menu card was changed without the host’s consent, and of course to the convenience of the owner, but drinks brought by the host was also used as per the owner’s convenience and saved for storage in the restaurant’s kitchen. So guys, if you are planning to party there, get ready to spend the BEST but get the WORST!!!!!

Hello, This is Mike from Durban. We recently had a visit to mauritius island and we were really delighted by the service of Domain du Moulin Restaurant. We found the location on the internet first but when we got there I must say we were simply delighted to see such a peaceful and marvellous place. We booked the location and hired the huge place for Karla's wedding (Our beautiful daughter). Great DJ, superb food, we liked everything. I must say a BIG thanks to the owner who has done a superb job in making the wedding a success. I intend to book the place for a second time next year. regds, Mike.
