Despite trying on numerous occasions we've never managed to get a pizza delivered. First time I called, I was told that they would call me back and call back they did...more than 2 hours later!!!Second time I called I was told that they didn't have anyone available to deliver! Third time, I was told that they were too busy to do delivery that day!!!I tried for the fourth time today and nobody even answer the phone!!!I wander if i'm gonna try again??!

the legend of mauritian Dhollpuri is more of a myth now!the indstrial dhollpuri are often tasteless, particularly oily and even the curries are full of herbs!the long queues are there only because of the name!

The Restaurant is very new, It maintains high standards and is certainly one of the best stand-alone find dinning outlets in Mauritius, the fact that it is established in a mall, gives you a break from the beaches and serine atmosphere, Gourmet food and wine. The staff friendly and food is fresh and delectable, the chef meets you to take the order. Food is amazing and best in its kind-very unique. The wine is handpicked, Delicatessen products are of superior quality. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. You feel like being there every so often, the buzz of the people around adds to the ambiance, food and service top quality. Highly recommended.

Had first visited Divino in 2016. Food and service were average at that time. We went to Divino for the second time yesterday. Although it was quite late (930pm), the restaurant was still open. We approached a waitress of around 40 yrs to enquire if it was still possible to get a table. We didnt get a greeting or any smile from her whatsoever. She replied to us in an exasperated tone (as if we are asking her for free food and disburbing her) that she will check if the kitchen is still open. She came back after a few sec to announce that the kitchen is closed. Again no smile,no apology whatsoever-just the same annoyed and exasperated facial expression and tone of voice.Normally we would expect a polite apology with a smile in such events maybe followed by a brief exchange on opening hours and ways to make reservation etc. Also a "hope to see you next time" would have been much welcome. For me, this is easily service Level at its worst.how does Divino expect to attract and/or retain customers with such sour face staff who severely lack basic courtesy and manners!would def not recommend this resto to anyone
ReplyDix Neuf - Tamarina Golf Estate
21/10/2009 by Christopher Swasbi
The Le Dix Neuf restaurant overlooks the golf course and my family all agreed with me that the place looks like a postcard. With a warm greeting, the waiter welcomed us with cocktails. My only complaint was that he also served my daughter, who is only 17, but once i told him of her age he immediately replaced it with a non-alcoholic drink. And as the weather was very pleasant and not too hot, we sat outside on the terrace. As far as the cuisine is concerned, it is a fusion of European and Mauritian. I had the tuna from the specials, my daughter a salad and my wife had the lamb. We all enjoyed it, even though my daughters salad was rather small in comparison to our dishes. I was told by the waiter that the chef presents a different dish every day, so its worth to come back and check the daily menu. For dessert we all shared the chocolate moelleux. It has a crunchy coating and the chocolate was literally melting inside- definitely a great dessert to end a good meal.

If distance is no problem try Domaine Anna at Flic en Flac. It is the most amazing restaurant we have been to anywhere, the food and surroundings are amazing and excellent value. Domaine Anna is a romantic, but rather big, yet posh restaurant in the middle of sugar fields. The garden of the restaurant is just terrific at night as it has been constructed in the ruins of an old traditional stone house. They have separate portion of the restaurant for private events and festivities. The food is delicious though a little bit more expensive but it worth it. Go and enjoy – I know I very much enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service.

Lets start by saying that it's beautiful as I have heard- and except that, I really believe its the best restaurant in Mauritius- even for European standards. The meal at the restaurant was amazing. I can really recommend to try the Sea Food in Domain Anna, and in particulate the Lobster- It was very well prepared, The prawns were very very big. My wife who doesn't eat fish or sea food really enjoyed this place too (she ordered veal). I am sure you will enjoy this restaurant.

Restaurant is set amidst waterfalls and cute little stream running through the restaurant. There are little "islands" where some large tables are placed which give you privacy. If you walk around you will see ducks as well as big turtles which could be very cool for entertaining kids. Food was generally nice, I chose king prawns in wine and butter which I was happy with. There were candles and torches everywhere which gave a very cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended for events and private parties as well as romantic candlelight dinners.

A massive restaurant on the road to Flic-en-Flac. Very thoughtfully laid out so each area feels quite cosy and intimate. Look out for the selection of aquariums near the entrance. Very chinese feel, but with a diverse menu. Service quick, polite and well executed. Dishes were all very good, with the seafood a definite strong recommend. Has an interesting selection of cocktails too.
