    What to order as a vegetarian in Mauritius

    Dholl puri with cari gros pois and rougaille, vegetable briani, mine frite légumes, bringelle fritters, lentil dhal with rice, and fresh juice or an alouda to drink. When ordering Creole, ask for the cari to be made without shrimp paste, which some kitchens add by default.
