The service ain't good at all. I waited for more than 45 min to get my food over there. The food quality is just ok, nothing more. The waiters were very cold, as if they did not want to serve food properly. As if, they were forced to do what they were doing. Uncourteous. I'll go there, if and only if I don't have anywhere else to go.

CHOICE PALACE NOT PALACE AT ALL... if the owner is reading this..will recommend you to change the name as soon possible.. even lhotel mine will not suit ... only the building is big.. DETAILS RATE (%) welcoming 0 service 0 food 0 drinks 0 waiters attitude 0 balance payment 0 waiters always had excuses for their bad services provided to me on my visit there. not enough plat for individual fried rice for 4 customers on saturday evening end of month... pena 4 plats dan ene resto pu 4 dimune pu ene menu riz frite speciale...apre 45 mins gagne manger coumadir passe dan la guerre,ou get sa ou lappetit aller ...gaz prend palce paye gro lamonnaie pu gagne gaz dan CHOICE PALACE .. boss if u are the owner change the name to GAZ PALACE,it is highly recommended by customers... menu sizzling didnt sizzled,the waiter told me that the plate was not hot enough.. b mo frere tire couyonad dan menu card si pena lequipment.... gagne kdo si mo refuser al la ba saaa... prefer marchand roti lor la rue satisfaction 100% continuer get ou ban client " white people" ki vine apre ban soi disant ti dimune.... merci pu ou comprehension...et ou letemp pu lire sa message... see you never again......

hi, Do yourself a favour! NEVER go to that restaurant! I went there with family on 19/Jul/15 (one day after Eid). Arrived at 19:05. At 20:30 we received our starter. At 21:26 the waiter said our menu will take some more time. Fed up of waiting, we paid our bill and left. First time in my life, my son cried in a reataurant because he was hungry. i paid Rs 1,255 for starter and return home to eat apollo noodles. (mine Apollo, dizef)

Poor customer service!!! Food was not even good. Very disappointed.

One of the worst restaurant ever. Please do not waste your time and visit that place as it has the worst SERVICE ever whether be it for inhouse dining or takeaway. I ordered for my meal 45 mins in advance and it has been more than an hour that I am still waiting to get my order. If the owner is reading my review, my suggestion is either you close down your business or close down your business!!!!!!

Never coming here again. Nice restaurant architecture but worst customer service ever experienced. Only one staff to take order and serve all guest in the restaurant. Took more than 1 hour to receive the foods and yet not satisfied with it, meat was not cooked well Its a restaurant nightmare! Doesn't deserve quarter of a star. Those reading this review make sure not to waste your precious time and money. As a hotel receptionist , this is not a service it's shit!!!!

Just to say "thank you" for our meal yesterday. We really all enjoyed your delicious food and the set menu for lunch was everything we hoped it would be and much more. Thank you so much.

On 15th march 2016 we went to the Restaurant for my birthday and had the Japanese set menu . The food was excellent. The staff gave such a warm welcome especially Mr Jusveen. He is so pleasant. The food, the staff and the surroundings really made my day so great . Thank you to all you nice people. It has been a memorable evening.

i went to that resto with my gf. that was a very bad experience. we arived at 1.30 pm and the waiter(bad mood face) told us to hurry up because the chef was going home???wat's wrong with you mate. i need my time to choose. there come the menu, bUT every dish we would choose would not be available. the waiter proposed us some dishes but i was completely pissed off. i didnt want to be rude there, and 1 ordered a crispy chicken plate only for tasting. that was the worst crispy chicken i tasted. so oily and didnt had the chicken taste, please close that resto down.

Visited City Orient a couple of weeks ago for a team lunch with colleagues. We ordered fried rice and other veg &non-veg dishes to complement the former. City Orient claims to be a chinese food restaurant but I did not experience that exotic chinese flavour in the cuisine, which would have otherwise, made it more authentic and unique. Though it was not my most wonderful food experience so far, I enjoyed the menus. The decor was nice, the atmosphere was cozy and the staffs were friendly. The washroom, however, was not hygenic. I would recommend the restaurant for friend's get-together or business meetings and not to love birds seeking a romantic, quiet dining escape.

This restaurant is located in central Port Louis with one of the most refined chinese cuisine dishes on the island. The service is excellent.Definitely go back there again!

for those amateur of good food , including chinese cuisine , city orient offers specialities ,reserved for those food explorers, but one has to be inspired and ask . one of the delicious dishes is the soup in a whole white pumpkin.out of this world .

Excellente qualité de la cuisine, les assiettes sont hyper copieuses, les barquettes sont proposées pour emporter l'excédent. Le service est réalisé avec une très grande amabilité, j'y reviens à chaque fois que je passe à l'ile Maurice, et je continuerai à y revenir tant que je serai aussi satisfait. While staying at an apartment in flic en flac we struggled to find anywhere on the surrounding beach park to have a few drinks in the evening. Everywhere else was dead and expensive however the C Beach Club situated right on the beach -was a lovely place to spend a couple of hours in the evening and the next day we went in the morning and spent the whole day there. Drinks are not expensive and the food, mediterranean style menu is resonably priced and substantial. During the day they also serve breakfast and lunch while on the beach there are many activities and plenty of sunloungers. a nice place to spend a few hours in the day and night. The service however was super slow both times. The coupon for 20% is great, thanks resturants.mu for that

was a wonderful night the food was out of this world they do have a new chef that accommodate special menu for you and they will lounge a new a la carte in feb i am looking forwards to it

Great place for cakes and lunch. They also have wonderful frozen meals!!!!

Spent a fantastic Sunday afternoon (our last day of honeymoon) sipping coconut milkshakes with thin based pizzas and smoked marlin linguini (our new favourite dish). It's super relaxed, sophisticated and a real oasis off the streets of Grand Bay. Spent a few moments walking around taking photos of the decor and architectural detailing. The manager opened up the upstairs lounge for me to have look... was pretty fancy! They can take this concept to any Island or lowrise streetscape in the world, I'm a huge fan!

We had a nice evening of just Mojitos. Atmosphere was very nice, lively but not overly so. Nice crowd there. Would go again. No comment on food as we ate next door and went there for a night cap. Do not ask for the coconut unless you do not mind a hot one - the cold version is not offered - strange!
