I had an awesome moment there yesterday! the food and service were impeccable! I would highly recommend this restaurant for business dinners or just for chilling with family and friends!

Sitar: 'Authentic' Indian Cuisine Restaurant situated at Bagatelle .... worst place to go if you want to enjoy some authentic indian food. The food is just blend! Butter Chicken: It is a dish revered for the juiciness of the chicken. The meat must melt in your mouth like butter. The one I have ordered at Sitar was dry and the sauce had way too much cream! Dal Makhani: A slow cooked (over the tandoor) mixture of pulses which is served as a thick and succulent condiment. The one I have ordered at Sitar had been diluted and had way too much cardamom. A disgrace really. Dum briyani: The spicy briyani that we all love and is traditionally cooked on a sealed pot (dum) so that the meat cooks and infuses the rice with all the flavours. The one I have ordered at Sitaar looked like the meat has been cooked separately and the briyani rice (which looked more like a pilaf) has just been incorporated together. Another shameful dish at Sitar. In my honest opinion, Sitar Restaurant is just another well furnished restaurant which provides food that put a shame to the name of authentic indian cuisine! Gosh!

Really terrible and TOO SLOW service definitely detracts from the food - both for home deliveries and eating in !!!

The Service was very slow...not enough waitress unfortunately. Food and service were good just too slow. The restaurant was full and only 2 waitresses serving. Really not enough.

Excellent atmosphere, with the live band. Great place to eat and have a drink with friends :)

Today we purchased from your branch- wedges, chicken drumsticks, Chicken salad, Twister and nuggets, chips+ brazer Quality of Drumsticks, twister and chicken in salad was very bad. Brazer was awful. It seemed like the chicken was fried twice, it was so oily. KFC Curepipe has quality issues. It can be ok for a week or so, then it's back to bad quality. Isn't there a standard that all KFC should abide to? How can you change the wrap in a twister overnight? isnt there some control at your end?

This was the most excellent indian restaurant I found in the upper-medium class in Mauritius. super delicious! a composition for the tastes! like: - fish in bananaleaf, soooooo good! delicious! - octopus-carpaccio, excellent - beef-masala (curry), so yummy! everything perfect, from the set of tables, plates, glasses and so on. friendly, fast and personal owner Parvis gives everything for his guests, also time for a chat if lonely or wished and even save company home (not to many streetlights there). you ll get bread, butter and a superhot green chili-paste from the house as starter....very nice! good friends now! Parvis wish you all success for your change of locacion! he will move more towards the center and the waterfront, good plan! all the best from Sylvia!

We just went there in the hope of enjoying a good moment and eating nice italian dishes. We were extremely disappointed of the service- NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. 1.The waiter doesnt know about the menu. The pizza section includes a note that says every dish is served with a choice of salad, chips, etc,. We queried the waiter about it and he said he doesn't know what that is. He didnt even care to ask his superior for our clarification or for his future encounters. We had to tell him twice that we would like to know about it in case we have to choose. We then found out that this was an error on the menu. 2. We took an octopus salad (rs250 EXCL vat) but which is way worth less than ard rs 190 inc VAT in terms of quantity and content. We asked whether this was accompanied with bread and the waiter said 'no',the dish doesnt come with anything'. We asked him a second time whether we could get some bread to eat with and he again replied negatively. but as I was watching at the food counter I saw a basket of bread waiting to be delivered at our table. Guess the latter wasnt aware of wat comes with! 3. Not so happy with that treatment, while eating, we found that the bread was over grilled and was completely dark burnt at the bottom. we had to use knives to take out the burnt area. 4. the most unpleasant part was when we asked for 2 small additional plates koz we wanted to share the salad and other dishes that we were taking. Surprisingly, the waiter was reluctant to bring the plates. he was so rude and had the nerve to tell my mum "how many times do i have to go back and forth?!" (whattt??? but man!, does that not form part of ur job??!! whatever a client asks for within the business, is it not ur job to go and look for it?!) To add to this, we got our soup but no spoon. we SO UNFORTUNATELY had to call for the waiter again to bring spoons! If that was possible I would have called for another waiter by there is only one waiter serving all client coming in. So we had to wait for him to see us waving at him and also had to wait for him to serve the other tables before getting to us! 5. Mum was finishing her dish when the waiter came at our table to take away empty plates. He then hesitantly asked whether there was anything missing. For a second I thought that he realised we were annoyed by his unpleasant behaviour but I was wrong. He also asked whether he could bring the bill. I wasnt yet done with my food and I had to tell him please, im still eating. if he could bring it later. Earlier, I needed 'tissue paper' but I didnt want to get disagreeable responses so i remained silent. But when the waiter asked if there was anything missing, I kindly told him that I need tissues to clean around mouth and guess what? he told me to use the towel on the table. (the one you put on ur lap). As if if i could use this, i would have asked for tissue papers! 6. and by the way, I ordered a ravioli (after being told that the tortellini was not available)/. This was below expectations. 7. Im not sure hes got something against us? the bill for one of the other table was incorrectly calculated, and from another table, one of their plate was dirty. We knew it as the waiter said it so loudly to the man at the counter- supposedly the manager, who didnt seem to care about customer satisfaction as well.

des vacances superbes sur l ile et nous avons trouvé et oui un vrai KEBAB au centre commercial LA CROISETTE une sauce balche comme on l aime une viande tendre et un prix que l on envierai en FRANCE super....

Best "Corne Frire" restaurant in Mauritius. I had 2 portions of corne frire , 1 octopus salad which was sooooo delicious and satini brinzel that was fabulous. But don't expect intimacy, the restaurant is too noisy and not suitable for children.

TASTE OF ASIA is one of the best foodcourt restaurant i know everything you need pack up under one roof..... Good service, pleasant people... gooooooddddd foood... i eat there regularly and have never been disappointed, by there service, food... they have good quality product... the staff and directors are welcoming and appreciate new suggestion......have a nice meal i recommend you all to go there even once.....

I've eaten the Best Mee foon in the island at LAI MIN: the Hakka Style fried Mee foon.

Food is excellent but very very expensive, that's why it is empty most of the times.

This restaurant is going downhill ! Food was not that great and thesauces seemed to be the same thing for any dish. The minuses : 1.appaulling service (the staff were more interested to clean tables whenever one was free than to serve) 2.reheated snacks that were not crunchy Not worth to go again !

We visited this place the first time in December 2012. Surprised about the variations of cakes and bisquits they offer. Big surprise for us the production of "German Laugenbrezel". Very good quality and one (beside others) reason to return. Stuff quick and efficient. Owners friendly and welcomed. A good address in the East of Mauritius.

Appalling service. Waited ages to see if plates would be cleared so we could order desert. ....didn't happen so paid bill on way out the door Abundance of staff that rushed around laying up tables and ignoring guests ...what was the point as nobody else was coming in! Will not visit again!
