Myself and my wife stayed in Trou d'Eau Douce in August 2017 , we came across a beautiful restaurant called Green Island, Beautiful food and staff were brilliant, so helpful and professional, the place was so nice and surroundings pleasant that we dined in there most evenings, sometimes ordering food to take away to the other beach areas. never a fuss or problem. They are genuinely one of the best restaurants I have seen on Mauritius, for quality and price.. 10 out of 10 at all times definitely a 5* restaurant. Thank you for such great hospitality . FÉLICITATIONS À TOUS LES PERSONNELS, sans oublier le chef Mr kersley, moi et ma petite famille ont bien a précisé l'accueil que vous nous donnez depuis toujour 2 ans environ je crois,brefs tous vos plats sont excellents sans oublié le riz Thai hummmmmm. . Ah! c'est un beau dragon! glouton, peut-être, mais tellement souriant, tellement accueillant que nous y revenons toutes les semaines... ou presque ! Avec leur fort sympathique cuisinier, nous passons commande de riz frit spécial ou thai et nous nous régalons à nous en lécher les babines ! Grâce à lui, pas besoin de cuisiner pendant nos trois mois de vacances à Maurice... que du bonheur! Vive le gentil dragon glouton !

I have been at great delights twice & spent a nice time on each occasion. The food is also good and most of the waiters know their job. The only issue is that it has limited parking...

Location is 5 sur 5. But the rest is average.just too bad.

J'y suis allée pour le diner et j'ai été déçue tout comme ma famille. Tres longue attente pour avoir des plats simples. Ils ne daignent meme pas prévenir pour l'attente. Encore déçue lorsque les plats arrivent (pas complets). De plus, le rapport qualité-prix n'etait pas justifié. L'endroit est bien mais pas la nourriture et le service. Perso, je ne recommenderai pas et n'y retournerai pas non plus.

Went there already 2 times. Excellent food and services. Nice and welcoming atmosphere. Really recommand all of you to go there at least once. It's one of my favourite restaurant so far and would definitely go there again. Prices are affordable. A real value for money restaurant.

Went there 6 time and never been disappointed. One of the best restaurant on the island nowadays. Yes, I would strongly recommend to give it a try..Very good food and drink. Perfect service.. Beautiful deco and nice atmosphere..my best restaurant!!!!

used to go to this Chinese restaurant all the time, the last time was not good- maybe because they were so full, the service was really bad and food no good I will give it one more chance because until now was ok

resto settings was nice, comfortable, food was great.. was a "buffet ouvert".. had a variety of chinese food, "starters, main course and dessert "... highly recommended... waiting for another opportunity to pay a visit there!

Everything Is Good. Except The Price: Very Expensive, Probably The Most Expensive Chinese Restaurant In Mauritius. On Sundays, Service Is Quite Bad (Must Wait A Lot To Get Your Food).

Les couverts sont sales ainsi que les serveurs n'ont pas de maniere. J'ai passe une mauvaise soiree la bas.

I PAID A VISIT THERE LAST FRIDAY(PUBLIC HOLIDAY). WAS A KIND OF DIMSUM DAY. LARGE VARIETY OF DIMSUM.DESPITE THE FACT THAT I WAITED 20 MINS TO HAVE MY DRINK, QUALITY OF FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD. PRICE WAS AVERAGE. STAYS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHINESE RESTAURANT.

J'ai ete avec mon mari, buffet ouvert, starters, plat principal avec plusieurs choix, dessert, etc... Nourriture super bon mais le prix cher, disons qu'on ne peux pas se le permettre tous les mois. Tous les prix sont VAT exclusives donc... la peau des fesses!! Mqis j'y retournerai bien pour une petite soiree romantique avec mon cheri!!!

I have been there several times and the food was nice and they also prepare lovely non-alcoholic coktails..but too expensive for chinese cuisine.However, the decor is beautifully set.

We had a nice time and we intend to bring some friends next time we go there

Cool & friendly waiters. Pretty nice food. Would like to visit the restaurant again. Heard that You can even celebrate birtdays there.

The food is not so good. The food is either too spicy or lack taste. Better places for vegetarians are available. My first and last visit at this restaurant.
