This restaurant can be compared as one of the best Indian restaurant in Mauritius. The Food is good and its location makes it really accessible. One negative point would be the feeling that it is a bit crammed. This might be due to the setup. However you are sure to have value for money.

The best South Indian food you can get in Mauritius is at Indian Summer- no doubt about that. The Dosas(rice pancakes) are crisp, Idlis fluffy, Vadas crisp outside and beautifully soft inside all these coupled with heavenly Sambar(traditional South Indian lentil and veggies). You would think the chicken 65 is straight from India. The Chicken Chetinnad is as spicy as it should be and the Fish cooked in banana leaf speaks for itself. Though, there is a small sweet twist to most of the South Indian dishes which is not very characteristic. The North Indian fare is also not bad at all. The Tikkas are deliciousy marinated and cooked to perfection, rotis, naans, always steaming hot and soft and Dals perfectly combine with all. But you would definitely go to Indian Summer for South Indian cuisine. The decor could be better. Ambience is nice- typical India- the place is always packed. A good reason to book before, even on week days. To sum up Indian Summer in one word: A.U.T.H.E.N.T.I.C.

Nice food. For any north Indian dish, I would recommend this restaurant. Although they need to improve their non alcoholic drink quality and variety. Starters and Main Course are both quick nice. They however, need to increase variety in their menu listing. I have been their and know the menu by heart. Do try the paalak paneer.

It was the best Indian restaurant in Mauritius. It was.. Since it moved to Ebene it jumped straight from my first choice to the last place. Food is not what it used to be. Too bad.

very bad service... before completing the meal the bill is already at the table... they dont even ask if u want coffee or dessert. the service is very pathetic and the waiters need an attitude adjustment.

The restaurant's interior design is quite distinguished making it ideal for special occasions. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, a la carte, from three different Indian cuisines (North India, South India and the Kerala region) at reasonable prices. An open buffet is also available. The waiters are very warm and welcoming and the service is, most of the time, reasonably quick. Warning: Be sure to book in advance, especially for dinners.

Do not eat there. The chicken was slimy, which means it was outright stale. Nothing served besides the Naan was fresh. This food is a health hazard. It is even expensive. Save yourself the trouble and just go eat anywhere else. Places like this should close down.

Quality service, very good meal, make sure to ask them to turn down the chillis but that's normal in Mauritius, we spent a very nice time- would go back.
