Very poor food and service Do yourself, your friends or your family a favour - don't go there.

Worst Experience ever! Not recommended. Bad Food. Not worth the displacement nor the price. Costly but poor service.

I have been there for the End of Year Party at work. It was a horrible experience. First of all, there was no lights at all. Seating arrangements were available for a maximum of 20 people at a party with 200 people. The food was pure bullshit, full of point or not cooked enough. Also the food was not enough for the number of people present there. Highly NOT recommended.

Very costly but didn't get the dinner everyone expected for the end of year party.

Hi to everyone reading. I have been at this restaurant a few times just because the food is good. My latest visit was on 30.12.16. The restaurant's ambiance is just nice. The waiters are polite. However, you may get shocked at the receptionist's laxist way of work and her lack of courtesy, on welcoming clients at Hong Kong palace. Her rudeness in reply to clients' request is absolutely not acceptable. She can spoil your mood in no time even after you enjoyed your good food at the restaurant. She is simply VERY mannerless. This also applies to her lady assistant. The regrettable thing is that the restaurant's management has not intervened so far to replace unpleasant personalities who work at the restaurant, to tarnish its reputation. Now that i am uploading my "felt bad" comments, I hope some action is taken in that respect. See, better employ those who appreciate what they do rather than breeding the bad and ugly sheep!

When my boyfriend called they picked up at the very first ring. My pizza came in about half an hour, still hot. Its not the very first and last time im gonna buy from there. I find the pizza quite good very saucy unlike the other ones where pieces get your throat dry. For me its a 8/10.

Had an awesome time at this place. Excellent service with good food variety. Its is one of best restaurant i have visited so far. Had the starter within 10 mins and main course arrived after 15 min. The atmosphere was cozy and music was good. Even had a small dance floor where we could enjoy the rest of the night. Price for starters main course are really good compared to restaurant in Port louis with less quality foods. It is a must to visit this place. I will surely be going there again to enjoy the other foods available. I personally had a soupe crab and it was really good. The sea food sizzling was ok but the lamb sizzling was awesome.

Mone asté ca pizza Marlin ‘special’ la kot El Mondo Bagatelle pou Rs385 : 1. Get pizza la so grosere et get sachet piment la so grosere. Kan m demande enkor 1 ou 2 sachet zot dir 1 sel gagner par pizza sans la moindre politesse!! 2. Zot in gagne sagrin pu met marlin lor Marlin ‘special’ pizza la !!! 3. Cankré la ti p marser partou lors muraille !!malheureusement m portab pa ti avek moi. Pane ggne prend foto.

Horrible service. Naan was burnt. Curries were blunt and cold. No salad was served. Never going back again. Awfull experience.

First of all, the service was very poor, the lady on the counter was as if very tired n we were disturbing her. I ordered for a thali, quality of the chicken was very poor and the taste horrible . Home made food was far better than their food. A complete waste of money!!

I was at the resto at 17 50 today ,28 JAN for a takeaway command. I was the first client there.I left there at 19 15.What was more surprising was that many other clients who came after me left before me.

I had a Very bad experience with my family today 29 Jan 2017 around 5.00 pm We spent more than 1400 rs in KFC Cascavelle. The food was ok3 but the service was very bad. La fille qui m'a servi etait un peu portante. She was very rude when she took my order with any manners. She did not even say thank you. I believe this kind of person should not be working there.

sommes revenus dans ce restaurant de renom, seule la décoration avait changé, l'accueil, le service, la qualité, la quantité, le tout était au rendez vous. Nous reviendrons et la nouvelle déco est très bien. Merci à tout le personnel, discrétion et classe.

C'était super!! L'atmosphere avec les chansons c'était hyper wwoooooowww. La nourriture impécable. Le service extra trés accueillant et toujours souriant.

Very good experience from my last visit at the Restaurant. I would like to add that. It would be great if you could update this information on TYPE OF CUISINE, Escales des Iles also provides a variety of Cuisine such as Mauritian, Chinese, Creole. And, you should definitely try their Seafood !!!

Went there on St Valentine's Day. They had reserved our table. We ordered SAW MAI, they brought SOUPE MAI. When we told the waiter, he started arguing that we were in the wrong. Food was absolutely horrible. They used frozen mixed vegetables in our fried rice instead of fresh vegetables. They could have used fresh carrots and cabbage instead which is cheap and would would have been much better. I ordered a boiled noodle with chicken and eggs. The noodle was over boiled and soggy. The chicken was so sweet in a rich tomato sauce and I could not eat it with the noodles as the sauce does not go with mauritian boiled noodles. The crab soup we ordered was bland and poorly seasoned. The saw mai they brought later was again very bland and poorly seasoned. They do not serve or allow alcohol consumption. For those who enjoy an aperitif or a glass of wine, bad luck. When i asked for the bill, i was told I needed to go and pay over the counter. I had to leave my table to go and pay. I waited for 15 mins before someone attended to me. Poor staffing, poor management and coordination was evident resulting in pathetic service.

Am here since 1hr30mins and the starter never came!!!! Heard its coming after dinner!!!!! UPDATE: The meal finally came and the food was not good at all, it will surely make this valentine memorable in a negative way!!! Went there few months ago for lunch and it was outstanding, buy wasn't a good idea to go back...

wir waren vor einer woche essen hier eingeladen von unseren vermieter,aber ACHTUNG es gibt hier zwei verschiedene speisekarten PREIS für einheimische mauritius leute, und für touristen. touristen peise : bei vorspeisen (starter) um ca 20 % teurer hauptspeisen um ca (80% teurer auch bei getränke besonders bei wein 100% hier wirst du als tourist über den tisch gezogen ABZOCKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a local..it was just the best mauritian meal!Eveything was tasty, spiced perfectly and melting.

Am very satisfied with the food. Service and atmosphere. Came with family and i truely feel we will definitely came again. Keep it on.
