09. Nov.2013 This is a day to remember and not to forget for 130 Persons who was present in my wedding @ Le batelage. The place is mind blowing, warm welcoming from the staff. The quality of food was IMPRESSIVE. The Top Man Mr Rajcoomar is really someone who helps and guides me to make our day the most beautiful and memorable. Thanks again for all the persons who really make LE BATELAGE a true pearl with a very respectful standard.

Une adresse autant somptueuse que surprenante. Un voyage dans le temps au rymth de l'argenterie et de la gentillesse. A l'arrivee, le serveur proprose un apertif sous la Veranda de la demeure principale. Domage de ne pas avoir une carte de cocktail a disposition... Cependant le Chivas et les petits fours au foie gras "maison" etait exquis. Invite a passer a table, ma femme et moi avons ete surpris de tant d'egard. On nous donne l'impression d'etre les maitres du lieu. Nous avons choisi de gouter au coeur de Palmier. Tout d'abord permettez moi de vous dire que nous ne savions pas que le palmier se mangeait cuit ... Et ce gout si subtil, accompagne de roquette a la truffe est tout bonnement Divin. Domage que la qualite du pain n'etait pas a la hauteur de ce met si incroyable. Ma femme a choisi une piece de Bourgeois cuit dans une feuille de banane et j'ai opte pour un roti de cochon marron .... Difficile ici de vous decrire ces plats, tant ils sont bons, bien presentes et surtout pour le poisson qui avait une cuisson parfaite. Les saveurs etaient petillantes, savoureuses et tres equilibrees. Une puree d'arouille violette accompagne le plat de ma femme, j'ai demande au serveur d'en avoir une petite assiette tellement c'etait bon. Au dessert nous avons choisi un fondant au chocolat, qui etait normalement bon car nous adorons le chocolat, par contre ils etaient accompagne d'un petit verre de rhum... Nous avons trouver ce dressage atypique et surprenant. Comme l'ensemble de cette adresse. Je vous conseil ce restaurant pour un diner en amoureux, gouter a une cuisine rare et en dehors des sentiers battus, mais aussi pour un depaysement total et pour enfin avoir un vrai service qui semble sincere et honete. Nous donnons une note de 9 sur 10. Les bemoles : - la qualite du pain qui n'est vraiment pas a la hauteur du reste du repas. - proposer des cocktails - les moustiques qui sont assez virulents - avoir a disposition un petit "chale" le soir pour les dames frileuses ...

My husband and I went for dinner at La Demeure de Saint Antoine for our anniversary. We are planning to go back as soon as possible! The atmosphere is so romantic, elegant and pleasant. The food was simply great. I had the Assiette du Chasseur as starter. Delicious ! On my hubby's advice, I had the Salmi de lièvre as main course and I was very pleasantly surprised by the flavours. But my coup de coeur is their Fondand au chocolat.. I ate mine and finished my hubby's. A finger licking dessert! We strongly recommend this restaurant.

Idéal pour s'arrêter avant ou après ses courses dans Port Louis ou au Caudan. Plat du jour délicieux, jus de fruits frais , crêpes sucrées , hum, je ne vous dis pas! Et en plus le restaurant dispose de son propre WIFI (gratuit)....

The place to be! Food is excellent, tried salads and pizzas several times and they were always fantastic! Service is good. Also tried the take away service and it was great too. Pizzas were ready on time. The owners are very kind too.

Bon restaurant dans le centre de grand baie en allant au bazar 1ere a gauche. Poisson frais du jour. Je recommande les camarons creoles. Mais tout est bon et prix raisonnable.

Meine Frau und ich konnten dort im November 2013 dinnieren. Die Lage auf der Veranda, beim kleinen Hafen, war sehr romantisch. Das Essen, nicht billig, war gespickt mit nicht gekannten Variationen, vorzüglich, kompliment an die Küche. Das Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen. Ici pas de carte, Giulia nous expose ses plats avec son charmant accent italien, on s'y croirait. Plats qui changent tous les jours selon les arrivages. Prix tout à fait raisonnables. Beaucoup de produits faits maison. Un pur délice!!! Qualité des produits, simplicité des plats et générosité sont les maitres mots. Promis, on reviendra lors de notre prochain séjour.

We had several plates there, some deer and rabbit plates. They were horrible - not juicy at all. Big shrimps (cameron) plate was somehow OK but still not a reason to come back again. The starters looked all similar although one plate was marinated artichok and the other one was terrina from deer etc. Still, the starters were much better than the main course (of course because they are made of raw food - jamon, figues, cheese and marinated artichokes. We did not dare to try sweets. In our opinion you do not get value for the price in this restaurant. Waiter was OK and there is a nice atmosphere. However, for me good food is a precondition for a good restaurant.
