Un petit restaurant sympathique et sans prétention de Grand Baie. Toujours constant et accueil très chaleureux. Les poissons sont bien cuisinés et le gratin de fruit de mer et la soupe de crabe délicieux. Un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

bonjour? je viens de lire la critique de monsieur ayer,je suis désolé monsieur vous devez etre un client vraiment difficile, j'habite à fuel qui se trouve meme pas à cinq kilometre de saint julien village et je connais bien la réputation de ce restaurant dans la région et j'ai moi meme gouter à sa cuisine notamment son riz frite que les mauriciens commande beaucoup chez lui d'ou la raison des tables vides ma femme est mauricienne mais moi je suis réunionnais donc aucune raison pour moir de passer la pommade mais moi je n'irai pas à l'ile maurice pour manger un steak frite allez donc au super marché et regarder les prix pratiqué sur la viande de boeuf et vous comprendrez le choix vous appartiens mais quand vous visiter un pays apprenez à connaitre plutot les gens et leurs coutumes ça vous évitera de dire des conneries...

I have been to this restaurant several times very recently because it has a new chef and the food is really VALUE FOR MONEY. The dishes are excellent and price very affordable. Starters are very good especially the 'poulet croustillant'. I also had black bean prawns with plain rice accompanied by 'brede saute with teakon'. I once tried the 'lamb saute' & 'bol renverser special'. All menu are excellent. If someone is looking for excellent chinese food at very good price, go to this restaurant and we won't be disappointed. Just one negative aspect is that at times the service may be a bit slow but FOOD IS EXCELLENT

Food excellent,staff friendly good atmosphere and reasonable price. The Butter Naan, Dal Makhani, Malai Kofta, Channa Masala was Awesome!! Would Recommend a visit.

the angel berry was a beautiful place and it was quite good delicious ice cream. I would like to go again but the next week, my brother will take me.bye

Je n`ai jamais vu un restaurant rapide aussi lamentable, pire que meme dans la rue a port louis. J`ai commandé un filet o fish, a ma grande surprise premierement de l`epaisseur du filet deuxièmement ilson tellement ete radin sur la sauce que le morceau de panure collait au pain comme de la colle. Pas de salade le pire c qu`ils mettent la moitié seulement de carré de fromage destiné a faire des hamburgers. Lorsque j`ai interpellé la gérante, elle m`a retorqué que ceci est la norme.En gros la norme chez mc do a maurice c`est de duper les gens, je ne recommande personne mc do a maurice.

There used to be restaurant named Fusion in Pereybere, infamous for its wonderful Barbecue. The food was wonderful, service as well, but the atmosphere was lacking... till this moment. It's less than week, restaurant reopened under different name (and it's really nice place to Chill) and owner. Very importantly, the barbecue retained it's awesomeness as the barbecue chef remained the same. Restaurant was improved such amazing way that now I can say it's a must visit for any barbecue lover.

for those amateur of good food , including chinese cuisine , city orient offers specialities ,reserved for those food explorers, but one has to be inspired and ask . one of the delicious dishes is the soup in a whole white pumpkin.out of this world .

Town dwellers good chinese restaurant , family outing on sunday evenings. some dishes have a distinct chinese flavour : chow mien [fried noodles], which has been qualified by a friend from china, as hao chi [good to eat ].very important, the place and 'couvert' are clean, the service also.

Sucre sale has one edge over most other places : the owner and wife are in the kitchen. the pizzas are delicious. very reasonable price, to fit students kitty. small, simple, friendly. great for couples monthly honeymooning, with or without children .

This restaurant is located in central Port Louis with one of the most refined chinese cuisine dishes on the island. The service is excellent.Definitely go back there again!

Visited City Orient a couple of weeks ago for a team lunch with colleagues. We ordered fried rice and other veg &non-veg dishes to complement the former. City Orient claims to be a chinese food restaurant but I did not experience that exotic chinese flavour in the cuisine, which would have otherwise, made it more authentic and unique. Though it was not my most wonderful food experience so far, I enjoyed the menus. The decor was nice, the atmosphere was cozy and the staffs were friendly. The washroom, however, was not hygenic. I would recommend the restaurant for friend's get-together or business meetings and not to love birds seeking a romantic, quiet dining escape.

Amazing food quality and taste. I would say its one of the best Indian cuisine i have tasted outside India. I ordered 3 starters and wanted to continue on them itself. The main course was delicious and Rasmalai was truely devine. Keep up the good work Flame and Grill.

the food is excellent, mainly the fish 'corn' and the octopus'ourites' I tried almost all the dishes and i must say that i enjoyed all of them. The aubergine chutney 'satini bringelle' is one of the best i have tasted so far. I would recommend people to try that restaurant, its situated near corps de garde mountain.

Stopped off and had a few beers whilst on a cycling tour ... Bad idea as when the bill came, the beers were at Mr 135 each. It was that terrible feeling you have when you have been robbed! I would not recommend this spot and suggest that any foreigners be forewarned! The locals seem to know about it being very expensive!

Went there on Friday ! Great place, great food but terrible service ! It took ages for the cocktails to come and guess what they got the order wrong ! The waitresses also kept taking the menus for the drinks away! My friend ordered a milkshake(in the terrace to chillax) and it literally took 40 minutes to get it! I can't believe the made her pay for it! The waitress told us they had to get ice or whatever and that milkshakes take like forever to make! It's such a shame because the food was actually good!

Expertly cooked, ready to order then served by the friendly staff. The food variety is broad enough to suit all your desires, even our vegan friend was surprised by amazing dishes. The Pebbles Salad served with Juicy King Prawns become my favorite as those were the most tender prawn I have ever tasted. My wife loved the Indian touch in everything. The wine list originated by South African had excellent choices. However I was a little disappointed with most Mauritian Hotel wine list as the prices were stupendous.
