Very bad service - tried to pay by card and was told they only accepted cash. I explained i had no cash and the manager said "thats not my problem". I tried to leave with my wife and baby to get cash from the ATM and the manager would not let us leave. I asked if she was accusing me of trying to leave without paying and she said yes it happened before. I was extremely insulted. They demanded i leave my passport there while i went to the ATM and questioned why i didnt have it with me when i told them i didnt. Extremely rude and bad attitude. Ruined our visit to Port Louis.

Top Restaurant with quality food and service. Excellent menu: Fried chicken wings, fried chicken, corn fish, all types of fried fishes, very tasty chinese and indian type of lamb. Affordable prices. Good atmosphere.

On 15th march 2016 we went to the Restaurant for my birthday and had the Japanese set menu . The food was excellent. The staff gave such a warm welcome especially Mr Jusveen. He is so pleasant. The food, the staff and the surroundings really made my day so great . Thank you to all you nice people. It has been a memorable evening.

Nice place for a quick meal. Went there several time and the food was always good. Service, yes need some improvement.. Not so much choice in the menu but all the food taste great. Various style. from Italian to Mauritian, Chinese... Had try several meal but my favorite is the Pizza 4 cheese and the steak

En vacances en décembre à Maurice , j'ai connu ce fameux fast food en centre ville accessible même aux horaires tardives de la nuit pour se restaurer avec des frites excellentes et une qualité de restauration qu'on ne retrouve pas ailleurs, sans oublier une propreté irréprochable. On y trouve des produits de très bonnes qualités et non de la mal bouffe et des plats bien garnis. J'ajouterai aussi que le glaces alléchantes aux goûts variées méritent largement un détour et je le verrai bien aux guides des routards pour les touristes. Bravo.

J'ai mange 2 fois en 3 jours car très bon rapport qualité prix. Produits frais avec bon saveurs. Le service est bon avec des serveurs agréables . Le samedi soir animation avec chanteurs et musiciens qui étaient très agréable !!!! Personnellement je conseil ce Resto !!!

we Visited this Restaurant with 4 persons. Waiting time was more than 90 minutes for simple things like fried Calamari and burgers. Restaurant wasn't full. I recommend to go there just for drinking or when you are not hungry.

Superbe soirée pour la St Valentin avec un buffet Italien somptueux et frais pour seulement 1000 roupies soit environ 25 € avec apéritif compris. Cadre sympathique, service excellent, très propre... Adresse à recommandée.

Very good service, the food was good. For two persons, it best to choose 1 dal and 1 curry with rice or naan.

Hi. I see am the first one to write a review on Chez Pepe after 2014. One simple thing.... If you are Mauritian, don't go there..The service will be different for you. I've been there for my fiance's birthday. We enter the restaurant and ask for a table for 2 person. The place was quite empty. They put on in the middle on a 2 place table. tnen we ask to sit near the window on the side. but the waiter argue that thesee are for for 4 person min (table of 5 chair). we say ok its fine. then some few minutes later, a 2 tourist enter the restaurant and go straight to the 5 chair table !! the waiter did'nt tel them anything. Then he cam to see us and tell us that we can sit there if we want !! This is very bad service..We should asked for everything.. chili, ketchup, bread.. there was only 2 waiter.. the tourist got everything fast and didn't ask for anything.. what is this??? What a shame. !! And i was paying the same thing also.. why did i get a different service then.. the service is the worst i've seen

This restaurant's logo has to be the worst logo in the history of logos. On my visit to Mauritius, we drove by the restaurant and I read it as PLUM. It's only after a few weeks that someone mentioned the word Opium while pointing at the restaurant that I realised that it was the real name. I run a marketing, design and branding firm in Canada and I do know about logos.

Après notre ballade à Chamarel, nous avons loupés la Varangue sur Morne. Nous nous sommes rattrapés un dimanche pluvieux pour prendre au départ juste l'apéro et des "gajacks" mauricien sur demande. L'excellent barman et personnels nous ont fait durer le plaisir avec l'agréable repas de plus copieux. Le vent a chassé les nuages et le soleil au rendez-vous ce fut la cerise sur la gâteau. Sans compter café et digestif offert. Que demander de plus. Je n'oublierai jamais ces beaux échanges avec le sourire mauricien. Well done. "MARI BON". Show must vous on. Vive l'île Maurice Vive les mauriciens. Nous reviendrons en 2016.

Best curry in Mauritius very good value for money. We travel 11,000 miles once a year and it's the first place we go after 23 hours of traveling. Quite laity and choice are consistent and service is brilliant
