With the Easter Season in full swing, the Shangri-Laâs Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, Mauritius has released its 2019 Easter programme, designed to keep the whole family entertained. The 5-star resort will not only offer a mouth-watering chocolate-themed menu, but also unique experiences including a culinary pop-up with the internationally acclaimed Blanchette restaurant, chocolate egg hunts and themed races.
As from the 15th to 22nd April 2019, the Republik Beach Club & Grill at the resort will offer an indulgent five-course chocolate menu.
Chocolate lovers will be delighted at the gourmet 5-course menu, including a lobster medallion served with ivory chocolate, duck liver with dark chocolate and a decadent dessert of dark chocolate, coconut and a smoked chocolate sherbet.
Oenophiles will also be glad to know that wine pairings, specially selected by the resortâs top sommeliers will be offered to accompany each course and highlight the flavours of specific chocolate varieties.
A pop-up culinary experience by the French Bistro, Blanchette will be open from the 17th April to 19th May 2019.
Aside from all gastronomic feats at the Shangri-Laâs Le Touessrok Resort & Spa, international DJ, Jade de Lavareille will be at the resort from 17th April to 1st May 2019, performing her unique, multi-ethnic mixes all the way through to dinner at Republik Beach Club & Grill. And since it is Easter season, a number of fun games and activities will be organised for the little ones, including Easter egg hunts, an Easter parade and a workshops with face painting, arts & crafts and music.
