The Black Rock Bar & Grill Mauritius is a newly opened Steak House at Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa. Open to both residents of the hotel and to the public, the restaurant is today the address par excellence for meat lovers.
The Black Rock restaurant offers stunning views of the turquoise-blue lagoon of Roches Noires, from the deck overlooking the beach to the open-air restaurant. With refined decoration, vintage wooden planks, blue-themed furniture and a checkerboard bar, the restaurant warmly welcomes all guests.
Open Monday to Sunday, from 11h00 to 23h30, it offers an extensive menu of tender and juicy red meats, headed by chef Alvin Mooneesawmy. From game meats, beef carpaccio, deer tartar appetizers, Angus or Wagyu beef sirloin steaks, duck breast, rack of lamb, all these delights are offered at a reasonable price, making the visit definitely worth it. Seafood options are also available with mussels, fish and chips or giant grilled shrimps. Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted at the great choice of desserts such as Crema Catalana, Tarte Tatin, chocolate soufflé, cheesecake among others.
With a seating capacity of 70, Black Rock is a great place to host private parties. The restaurant also plans to be the go-to destination for “Jazz & Dine” events or Tasting evenings in the northeast region of the island. Plans for a German Beer Garden are already underway where large tables on the outside will serve a variety of beers in a friendly, rustic and festive atmosphere.
