Changing or cancelling a booking
How to move a booking to another time, cancel it properly, and what happens if you do not turn up.

Plans change — that is completely normal, and we would much rather you told us than left a table waiting. Here is how to do it in a minute.
Where your bookings live
Everything you have booked sits under My bookings in your account menu. Each booking shows the restaurant, the date and time, the number of guests, and its current state: requested, confirmed, cancelled or completed.
If you booked without signing in, use the Manage booking link in your confirmation message. It opens the same screen for that one booking, no password needed. If you cannot find the message, search your inbox for the restaurant's name, or write to us and we will resend it.
Changing the time or the number of guests
Open the booking and choose Request a change. Pick a new date, time or party size, add a short note if it helps, and send it. Nothing moves yet: your original table stays exactly as it was while the restaurant reads your request.
The restaurant can do one of three things:
- Accept — your booking is updated to the new details and you get a confirmation.
- Say they cannot do it — your original booking stays in place, usually with a short explanation.
- Suggest another time — they offer an alternative. It only becomes your booking once you tap Accept this time on the booking. Until then, the original stands.
While a request is open you will see its status on the booking, and you can withdraw it at any time.
If you need a big change — a different day, twice the guests — it is often quicker to cancel and book again.
Cancelling
Open the booking and choose Cancel. You will be asked to confirm, and the restaurant is notified straight away. A cancelled booking stays visible in your list so you have a record of it.
Please cancel as early as you can. Anything inside the last couple of hours before the sitting counts as last-minute, because at that point the kitchen has already planned around you.
If you simply do not turn up
Restaurants can mark a booking as a no-show. The first time, nothing happens — life gets in the way. If it becomes a pattern, points are deducted, and after two no-shows within a year online booking is paused on your account for 3 months. Cancelling, even ten minutes before, avoids all of this.
Nothing to cancel?
Some restaurants do not take online bookings yet. In that case your table was never held here, so there is nothing to cancel on our side — just call the restaurant.
