How to book a table
Find a restaurant that takes bookings, send your request in a couple of minutes, and know exactly what happens next.

Booking through Restaurants.mu takes about two minutes, and you never have to phone during service or wait for someone to pick up.
Not every restaurant takes online bookings yet. On the ones that do, you will see a Reserve a table button near the top of the restaurant's page, next to the photos.
Step by step
- Open the restaurant's page and press Reserve a table. You do not need an account to book, though signing in saves your details and keeps all your bookings in one place.
- Pick your date. Days the restaurant is closed are greyed out.
- Choose the service and time. You only ever see times the restaurant has genuinely opened for that day — lunch, dinner, or whatever sittings they run. Times disappear once the kitchen's cut-off for that slot has passed, so if tonight looks empty, try tomorrow or send an enquiry instead.
- Say how many of you there are. Small tables are usually confirmed on the spot. Bigger groups often go to the restaurant as a request, because they need to move furniture around for you.
- Leave your details — name, phone and email — and, if it helps, a short note. This is the place to mention a birthday, a wheelchair, a high chair, a food allergy, a quiet corner, or that you are running slightly late. Restaurants read these notes and they genuinely change how your evening goes.
- Check and send. That is it.
What happens after you send it
You get an email straight away with your booking reference. What comes next depends on the restaurant:
- Instant confirmation — the table is yours, nothing more to do.
- Awaiting confirmation — the restaurant checks the book and comes back to you. Your booking sits as pending in the meantime, and a second email arrives once they answer. Most reply within a few hours during opening times.
Every email includes a Manage booking link. That link works without signing in, so you can open it on your phone, check the time you picked, or cancel. If you booked while signed in, you will also find everything under My bookings in your account.
Changing your mind, or your plans
Plans change — nobody minds, as long as the restaurant knows. Cancel from the Manage booking link or from My bookings.
Cancelling in good time costs you nothing at all. Cancelling at the last minute, or simply not turning up, reduces your points, because an empty reserved table on a Saturday night is a real loss for a small restaurant. Repeated no-shows can end up limiting online booking on your account. Need a different time or a bigger table? Cancel and book again, or use the note field to ask.
If there is no booking button
That restaurant has not switched reservations on. You can still use the enquiry form on its page — it reaches the restaurant directly and you get an answer by email or WhatsApp — or just call the number shown on the listing.
After you have eaten
We will send you a gentle nudge to review the meal. It takes a minute, it earns you points, and it is the single most useful thing you can do for the next person choosing where to eat.
