Hi, When u really like n appreciate something, u don't hesitate to tell the truth. Wat i would say about R&B Cake Studio is that, to start the people r very friendly n gud welcoming. In fact, i was in a confusion where to order my son's birthday cake koz the one i placed my order 2 years ago is closed now, so this was really a headache 4 me. One day, i just surf the net, to look 4 pasrty shops in mru, then i came across R&B cake studio, I was really impressed at first sight itself wiz its web site, it's so simple n coooool... And i was more impressed when i saw its variety of birthday cakes 4 children. So, without spending more time, i sent an email for more information and got my reply also, which i appreciated again. Then, the came 4 z order n the birthday was done with all enthusiam. All the guests liked the cake very much though it was a vegetarian one and also the picture on the cake, which was the Famous Mufassa with his son, Simba on his back. It was really impressive..... Thnks once again, R&B, u'r too good. But always keep the smile and ur gud quality cake wiz u. regards,' Smita

Le cadre est vraiment sympa et la vue très belle. j'aurais adoré séjourner là sauf pour ce qui est de la nourriture. L'entrée était délicieuse (salade) mais le poisson du plat principal était décevant. Après avoir manger un peu partout sur l'île, la sauce de ce poisson nous a surpris. il aurait valu ne rien mettre du tout ou alors carrément proposer de la viande avec ce plat du jour ! du coup, nous n'avons même pas pris de dessert. Les boissons l'entrée le plat et un café pour Rs 900 et une grosse déception de ce poisson au "gravy" !!!

Jadore ce restaurant... tres bon service. Les portions sont genereuses...vous conseille la salade dourites, le curry de poisson, saute de calamars

First, I would like to congratulate Romy and Blek for their tremendous efforts in giving customer satisfaction. With over 11 years of worldwide experience, they both deliver cakes and food with exquisite taste. Their cooking and baking are the most versatile around. Blek has created so many unique recipes for cakes; like The Black Beauty™ (a super moist chocolate-intense cake) and much more. Their genoise are so yummy, their tiramisu excel the French and their croissants leave you with a subtle satisfaction. I always recommend friends and relatives to order cakes from RnB Cake Studio. Blek and Romy put their hearts in everything that they do and they are true Pastry gurus! The last cake that I ordered with them - Chocolate cake with Chocolate Mousse ... was so intense. I can't wait to try their cakes again! RnB is the right place for your perfect Cake!

Last bad experience at this restaurant was 4 months ago. Shame on me for assuming that things may have improved......Gave it a try tonight for a family dinner. Sorry to write that the service simply is not there. Absent minded waiters, kitchen mix-ups, food that does not arrive even until we had ended our meal. Of course, the manager on duty is quick to apologize but that is after the fact......just too late after ruining the moment. While it is not ever right to say "I'll never go there again", I certainly would state that "you go there at your own risk and expectations". If you can put up with bad service and going for a nice view/location and good ambiance, then this place does offer that. But, let's face it, you can get a good ambiance at most beach front restaurants or hotels. What we spend our money on is the good times/memories which, on account of erratic and bad service, dings the outcome of the purpose. Just too bad Cabous.....ran into Ashley as I was leaving....he just shook his head at what he heard from me......shame:-(

J'habite à Maurice depuis 2 ans et avec mon homme on adore aller prendre un verre ou diner dans ce cadre agréable. C'est l'idéal pour un diner en amoureux, mais on y croise aussi des familles ou des hommes d'affaires en déplacement. Le groupe live y est toujours très bon, les serveurs(euses) très à l'écoute et bien sûr les propriétaires des lieux acceuillants et chaleureux, acccent du sud (-ouest je crois ?)chantant. On s'y sent vraiment bien, et on en ressort décompressé et rassasié !

You get good quality food here. It is Proper Chinese cooking and your portions size are really big. In fact you could have one meal shared with two people quite easily. Staff are efficient and but atmosphere is so so.

this restaurant is one of the most cozy place i've ever been to. quality service, great variety of beer and really good food. saying anything more would ruin the fun of experiencing lambic :)

This is for sure the best Restaurant,pub,bar to hang around on the Island. If you want good service,excellent food and drinks look no further Big Willy's is the place. A special note for the owner's Nicolas and Fred those guys know how to look after you and make you have a great time. Can't wait to back to there. Big Willy's rocks

Amazing experience and excellent service. Being on holidays in mauritius, a friend recomended me this restaurant. As i arrived there, the environment was incredible. The welcoming with these two ladies at the entrance was just so warm meaning better to come. we were seated by the lake, a nice waiter called "vanesen" came to us and explained the menu. We want to thank him for his professional service just excellent. Food was amazingly good. We will definitely come back and make sure we have this waiter again

The special fried rice Tamaris style as well as the fried noodles were absolutely delicious and well prepared; they were different from usual fried rice and noodles served in typical restaurants. As for the other food which I ordered, especially the seafood, were fresh and the waitress gave good suggestions as to what to order. The price of the menu is affordable and the atmosphere is family friendly, which makes the restaurant a place where one can invite friends over and enjoy nicely prepared food at a reasonable cost. The only downside is that there are parking problems and it is found a bit away from Vacoas city centre. I will nevertheless definitely go there again.

The best french pastry shop in Mauritius, it beats all the others. One can close their eyes and choose and the pastry is sure to be an absolute pleasure in the mouth. All the cakes melt in the mouth and the icings are not sweet and stomach filling. The very best of Caprices de Gervais for me are: Tarte banane; Tarte aus coco; Puits d'amour; Eclair; Chocolate Delight; Genoise aux fruits rouges; Cake slices(orange or raisin. All the others are also worth trying depending on individual taste. Also, the pastry shop innovates in terms of variety of french pastry offered and one is sure to find something new to try once in a while. The personnel are charming as well.

They make wonderful pizzas, even better than Pizza Hut and the service is great. The price is very affordable.

I went to Steers Grand Bay on 9May 2011. Ordered meal and took in take away back home. While serving i noticed missing portions for which i paid. I phoned back and talked to the guy who served me ( his name appears on the receipt ). He argued that he delivered all i ordered, I told him why I would phone back if it was the case, he did charge for my order but portions went missing. The manager took the phone and told me he will send a guy to collect and they will check, meanwhile i took photos of the portion delivered as well as the receipt. After 2 hours a guy on scooter came ( I live 5 mins by car to Steers Grand Bay ). He took the portion and since then I never had any replacement, neither did they apologised or refunded my money. Two days back I phoned to the head office and the person in charge told me nothing could be done about it and hang up the phone abruptly. Disgusting service, and on top i lost both meal + money !!

As someone mentioned before, the reputation of Domaine Anna precedes everything. No doubt the atmosphere is nice and the surroundings is great, but there's more to this. I have been there a few times now, and one thing is the good service i receive. But if one looks at the bigger picture, for a restaurant of this reputation, one should expect more from the menu. I think i have seen the same menu for the past 3-4 yrs.

la cigale was a lovely place with great service and atmosphere. Food was excellent, service very quick and efficient. It has been over years since i have been going to La cigale. I must say it is the best place in the island with very very good food and good customer service which makes your evening even more better. The prawn lasagna is really worth of trying very delicious and tasty, even if you are not hungry you would like to eat it . Besides, the salads are superb and the sauces is a must that one should try. Everytime i go to this restaurant i always return back very happily and I always enjoy my food there. Pizza's were the best i have ever tasten in Mauritius. Trust me, all pizza's lovers should really go to this restaurant. If your priority is good service, great food, good atmosphere and a good price then i would recommend everyone to go to la cigale.

Saffran restaurant is the best place for dinner. I often go to this restaurant for dinner with familly. I was very delighted to find this restaurant beyond my expections. This restaurant actually serve the most authentic Indian food I have come across in Mauritius - it's often hard to find somewhere that serves food in "thali". The food was absolutely delicious. Staff were incredibly friendly and everything was good value for money. There was a vast array of fresh salads, dal, tandoori which is a must that everyone must try, briyani hmmmmm marvelous, mouth-watering appetisers and many other delicious dishes. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere and location. Service is fantastic you are treated like a king, the waiters at the restaurant are very customer oriented and the service is very quick. The good perfume at the restaurant itself makes you feel hungry. I recommend that everyone should try the food there and once you go you will feel like going everytime just like me.

I went there twice. The food was good, not palate pampering neither stomach filling. The service was a major let down, constantly being asked which order number is yours. And they got it wrong. Lack of choice in relation to drinks and no healthy desserts.

Bonjour, J'écris ces quelques mots car je me dois de le faire. Adorant Moris, je ne comprends pas comment il peut exister de tel restaurant! Du pur vol! Plus cher que le domaine Anna, c'est pour dire, mais sans le cadre idyllique ni le service de qualité. Un patron sans sourire et insipide, qui change d'attitude dès qu'un bus de touriste arrive. Des serveuses tout aussi peu agréables. Je connais l'île depuis 2003, ai diné et déjeuné dans un tas de restaurant,même mangé sur le bord de la route avec de petits marchands, mais c'est la première que je repars la gorge serrée, avec le dégout d'avoir donner 3000 rs à un restaurateur! Il est inadmissible de proposer de tel prix à la carte, et de ne pas avoir un service de qualité. L'ambiance était horrible et froide, et les serveuses s'impatientaient car nous n'allions pas assez vite pour choisir ce que nous allions manger et boire. Nous avons vraiment été déçu, et ce resto nous a gâché une partie de notre journée d'excursion. CE RESTAURANT EST TOUT SIMPLEMENT UN ATTRAPE TOURISTE CINGLANT ET INDIGNE D'ÊTRE SUR LE TERRITOIRE MAURICIEN. Mo mari déçu par sa restaurant et mo pas compran coma dimoun cave faire ça! Li cave dormi a soir!...

Une merveilleuse soirée autour de differents plats de poissons; tout était très frais service excellent que des compliments quoi.....
