I just had dinner there yesterday. For me its good point is the originality of the dish-Korean. It is more like a small family run food outlet that we have in Mauritius. The Same ke Thang is very intersting with Chicken soup with Ginseng. Beware of the Tcham Pong which is a sort of noodle soup-very spicy. The Bi Bim Bap is a sort of mixed veg and meat in rice to be served with a spicy sauce.

You go there for the atmosphere and then for the food. The food quality is good and service is very good. Mostly Chinese as offer and better not venture to ask for more western style food. They can do it but this is not really for what you go there to eat. In a nutshell if you are looking for a place to invite close friends, don't hesitate to book there. They will like it. Price /Quality wise- it is a winner.

This is haute gastronomie cuisine, so if you go there you can expect the best, get your credit card ready and let your taste guide you. The atmosphere of the Balaclava ruins makes it a unique food outpost. A bit difficult to find even if you know Maritim Hotel. But is is really worth the pain. The last time I went there in Jan 2011, we could bring our wine and champagne without any corkage fee.

Been there to have the crocodiles but was very disappointed. As foretold it does taste like chicken but with more 'gras' or fat if you want... they have it in steak , 'vindaye' and with vanilla ... had the steak and i was hunting for flesh all the time. wasn't really good or worth the price. cocktails are overpriced but it does have that tourist rip off feel.

Great restaurant in the heart of rose hill, great waiter and waitress, the food is excellent, i strongly recommend the chicken and chips, and also the grilled sausages, wowww i really love it! On saturdays its over crowded, recommend to go in week days afternoon, its so calm. The price is very good, around rs200 the main course, wonderful place!!

I used to have a free menu card, but last week they took it back saying it is not used anymore for 6 meals bought getting 1 free...which will 1st make me think twice before going to Mc Do in the future. I saw a review about toilets...It is good to know that every nook and cranny of the restaurant must be cleaned up!! I have a Bsc Hons in Tourism/Hospitality and Leisure Management and working on the Tourism Industry and if I bring my clients to Mc Do I must ensure that the place is safe , that Food Safety rules are observed and HACCP too!! As for the food it is quite good, (at this stage I refrain from comparing it to same burgers in SA/EU and USA...It seems that due to TABOO/RELIGION, Beliefs ect... we don't have other recipes like we do have it EUROPE?SOUTH AFRICA ect.... Which is a shame ...personnally...Why do we call Mauritius a Multicultural Island for then??? can't meals be cooked separately???? separately from Hallal pdts ect...? living in this island I didn't see signs of animal slaughtering for restaurant purposes too...nor "Beef Smoke/clouds" released from any kitchen that could affect veggies leaving nearby....just saying.... The restaurant in Phoenix is only making Chicken pdts and Veg because of ISKON ??? well has there been an study before erecting the restaurant there ect?? has there been an unplanned development somewhere? or that people are too shortminded...I'm Just asking!!! However if introduction of such a FRANCHISE...it is quite frustrating in a way....some ppl should try to raise their standards.... but in the overall I wish you all the best... @ Portlouis, the service is good, table arrangements quite a bit ambiguous, the resto and it's pdts should be more visible , staffs quite friendly, and food good enough....keep it up ^^

I ate there yesterday night, the food is very good, the price also, me and my friends we ate soups as starters, then main courses were mine frit, fried rice and a bol renversé, + a sizzling beef. For drinks theres a variety such as beer, soft drinks, martini, red label or black label. Its a very good value for money, i strongly recommend yhis restaurant if youre in rose hill, very calm atmosphere at night with a cool background music, the waiter is very friendly and gives a good service.

i've got a very bad experience today at mac do situated in portlouis, don't know why but today i've seen a bad face of this fast food. i've been waiting for a century before finnaly getting my meal ready and this a very negative aspects as being a fast food one should have been served in within seconds and besides that i've taken two meals but the cashier gave me only one tomato and chilli sauce and i have asked her for two but she makes it as if she didn't care about what i was saying. i insisted as i bought two meals but still nothing or response from her.so, i've asked for the manager and get finally my chilli sauce. i've wasted nearly 30 mins dealing with this stupid thing about a chilli sauce, i really think that mac do is a good place for chilling but with some incompetent staff i really think that this would affect negatively the image of this organisation so please take my request into granted and please don't forget that " LE CLIENT EST ROI " hope to get a reply soon thank you.

real good restaurant!!!charming and pleasant waitresses and the food is just the real thing,if you are looking for great mauritian cuisine-that's the spot!

I ate there yesterday evening...the waiters are unexperienced...problems with our orders...we took steaks and bol renversé...steaks average...the salads too much vinegar, the chips quite good, they bring me a martini without ice!! the atmosphere is good, calm with a good background music, very good for birthday dinners, price a bit high compared to other chinese restaurants but they served till late, overall okay.

Très cher! du vol! des vrai escroc! des "rabateuse" nous ont presque tiré par la main pour y entrer!A depart nous voulions aller au restaurant à côté qui était conseillé par le routard!

We went there during a week-end, at night. It was a pleasant environment, though the table was a bit dark. The food was OK, but not many variety. Almost the same general kind of food other restaurants provide and mainly Chinese cuisine. We were expecting more gastronomical variety. To portion of food was good, too. Drinks, we tried the mocktails and were fine. Starters were not enough for the price, I think. Service was excellent though at some point the waiters seemed not to cooperate b/w themselves. One was blaming the other for something, before the clients. So, was not that professional. The price is OK, too. We'll definitely go back some day when we are around f-en-flac.

I think the Beach House has an unbelievable atmosphere, with great food and very friendly staff! The owner, Cabous has an excellent recipe there and is just getting it right and the Beach House is going from strength to strength...he keeps things happening there all the time...having functions, the new cocktail bar, great food specials! The vodka fillet, espatada's, burgers etc are divine and worth every rupee! Well done Cabous and the Beach House staff! Totally worth going to the Beach House for a good meal and great fun! with a view thats unbelievable!

Excellent restaurant. Nourriture de qualité (mention spéciale pour les crevettes avec beurre à l'ail) et service rapide. Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Restaurant recommandé sur Quatre Bornes (parking disponible across the road)

The pizza are the second best in Mauritius. I love to go there and the owner has a reel awesome DUCATI

I went to Stenios a number of times when I was in Mauritius in April. I would thoroughly recommend a number of the dishes abd the carbonara pizza is a must to try! Yumtastic :-)

Food and service is excellent. The best pizzas and pasta we have ever tasted. No Pizza I have had in europe comes close to Stenio's.I thouroughly Recommend.
