We heard a lot about this place so we went in a big group for a fun outing. But what a disaster it was ! The service was so poor and slow. The steamed fish was overcooked and had to be sent back. The chicken and prawns had no taste at all. The rice and noodles arrived 20 minutes after the other dishes !!! The only positive are the prices and the location. The waiters certainly need to be trained.

I think that if you are really famished.. Just end up in Comlone because they provide quick service.. In terms of the quality of food.. i'll rate a 4/5. Its quite delicious. At first, the atmosphere will seem to be wierd but just when you have taken a seat near the window, everything seemed to be so romantic. Now why just near a window? Its because you get a panoramic view...

No longer the Comlone I knew long time back.

Food is no longer excellent or exceptional...just standard stuff.

The waiters serve you very quickly too quickly in fact! And this is very annoying some time. You don't even finish your starters when the main course is served.

I loved the place. Although most ppl say it is overcrowded, got to tell you I loved the atmosphere. Maybe because I was there with a grp of friends but it is a very lively and joyful place. Although I would not totally recommend you this place if you are with ur lover and looking for some romantic place. Let's face it, most of us go to restos for the food not to see people...

This place is certainly the most over hyped and over rated restaurant in Mauritius! how can we have such oily food in a packed restaurant where you would need a speaker phone to speak to the person right next to you!when i went there, the waiters laughed at me when i told them i reserved!!

In my own opinion, this restaurant serves the best chinese food in Mauritius, at a very affordable price. It's true that it's often very crowdy and noisy but the food is really excellent. Tip: Take the crispy calamari for the starter, poulet sechuan with "riz Comlone" for the main course !!

If u r looking for a quiet dinner out with ur loved ones, DONT GO THERE!!
Its always packed, the food is oily and the noise is a real pain. (it reminded me of my lunch time during schooldays...lol) they are always overbooked and even if u have a reservation, u mite have to wait for more than 45mins to get ur table...and by that time u end up having a waiter who is tired and...

I was on vacation for 2 weeks, some friends decided to meet up there. I totally find the place packed with people. Very nice restaurant...good food at a reasonable price! Birthday parties may be celebrated there, on reservation. A definitely to dine in place.. :)
