You probably already know about Saint Aubin, but when was the last time you really got to enjoy everything it has to offer? This package invites you to take a break and treat yourself to a delicious lunch on the estate along with a visit!
Whether you prefer a hearty meal or something lighter, there’s something for everyone, including vegetarians. You can choose between the Standard or Deluxe Menu. But that’s not all — your lunch is paired with a unique, immersive visit around the estate.
The tour includes a visit to the estate's historic sugar factory and rum house for a tasting of traditional rum made from freshly pressed sugar cane juice. Aged in oak barrels, the estate's rum can be flavoured with vanilla or coffee for a taste of authentic island tradition.
One of the coolest stops is the vanilla greenhouse, where you'll learn how vanilla goes from orchid to pod, taking 8-9 months to develop its full flavor. Known as "l'or noir", vanilla is a labor-intensive gem, and the estate uses every part of the pod with a no-waste policy. You’ll also get to sample their unique vanilla-infused salt during a fun tasting session!
For those who love nature and a good photo op, there’s a botanical trail, anthurium flowers and a tropical spice garden to explore. And if you’re an animal lover, don’t miss the mini farm where you can say hi to fawns, chicks, and even peacocks.
Before you head out, be sure to swing by the on-site shop for some vanilla and other goodies to bring home—because who doesn’t want a little taste of this experience to enjoy later?

About Le Saint Aubin Restaurant
Built in 1819, the Domaine de Saint Aubin is a stunning example of colonial-era architecture. Once home to the owners of the sugar plantations, it is now recognized as a key piece of our national architectural heritage. Located just a few miles north of Souillac, on the road to Rivière des Anguilles, the domaine has been transformed into the Saint Aubin Restaurant, offering a menu of local and authentic cuisine.
