Saving restaurants you like

Every restaurant card and every restaurant page has a small heart. Tap it and the place is saved. Tap it again and it is gone. That is the whole feature — but there are two details worth knowing.

You do not need an account to start

Tap hearts as a guest and we keep the list in your browser. When you later create an account or sign in, everything you saved is quietly merged into your profile, so nothing is lost. The catch with staying signed out is that the list only exists on that one device and disappears if you clear your browser data.

Where the list lives

Saved in your account menu shows everything you have kept, newest first, with the photo, rating, cuisine and town — enough to choose from without opening each one. Remove something with the same heart.

It is a handy place for the "let's try that one day" list, for shortlisting before a birthday dinner, or for keeping the places you already love in one spot.

Saving other things

The heart works the same way on recipes and on articles: saved recipes appear under Saved recipes, and articles under your reading list. These do need an account, because they follow you across devices.

If a saved restaurant disappears

Occasionally a venue closes, or two duplicate entries are merged into one better page. When that happens the old entry stops existing and drops out of your list. If you think something vanished by mistake, tell us and we will look.
