Reporting wrong details on a restaurant page

Restaurant details change constantly, and some of ours come from Google or from listings that have not been touched in a while. If something is wrong, telling us takes fifteen seconds and it helps everyone who visits that page after you.

How to report it

On the restaurant page, use Report wrong details. Pick what is wrong — opening hours, phone number, address, the menu, the photos, permanently closed, or something else — and add a line explaining it. If you know the right answer, put it in; that is what makes a report quick to act on.

You do not need an account, though signing in lets us come back to you with a question.

What happens next

Reports land in a queue our team works through. We check the claim, usually against the restaurant itself or a fresh look at the source, and then correct the page. Straightforward things like a wrong number are quick. "Permanently closed" we verify carefully before removing anything, because we would rather be slow than wrongly close a working business.

You will not always get a reply, but the change will show on the page.

If the restaurant is yours

Do not use the report form — claim the listing instead. Once verified you edit hours, contact details, description, photos and menus yourself, and your version takes priority over anything we hold from other sources. It is free.

Reporting something else

• A review that breaks the rules: use the flag on the review.
• A photo that should not be there: use the flag on the photo.
• A member behaving badly: Report this member on their profile.
• A restaurant missing from the site altogether: tell us about it and we will add it.

One thing to expect

Fixing a detail does not earn points. It is not that kind of feature — it is simply the fastest way to keep the island's biggest restaurant directory honest, and we are grateful every time someone bothers.
