I went to this restaurant a few weeks ago, I'm a big fan of chinese dish and the food at Shamping was excellent ( I took a sam tung chicken with rice) as well as the service but the drinks were too expensive for a chinese restaurant and VAT is not included in the menu so be careful if your budget is low.

This is the best dimsum in the world! The atmostphere and the service is brilliant! Although the prices are extremely reasonable, the quality of the food remains excellent! Best value for money. Do not miss this awesome experience!

I have been to this restaurant.what can i say...great and lovely atmosphere with superb food.i recommend lamb makhani,jhinga tawa massala and aloo gobi accomapnied by muttar pulao.just the best indian restaurant in mauritius.service is great as well,the owner is there to accompany you and have a friendly chat.dont forget they have been visited by great personalities including the actual president of mauritius who dines there.highly recomended to every one even if you dont like indian food,i am sure you will fall in love with indian food after visiting shamiani and try their excellent food.and not to forget the price is very affordable,great value for money!!enjoy

Shamiana is one among the best Indian Restaurant in Mauritius, it has a very cool deco, pleasant welcome, and the menu is Superb. Bhye Idriss is always here to help you with the best menu combination and his great smile always make you at ease. I will recommend without any hesitation..

when there for lunch around 1pm, it was empty, thought there must be something wrong....however, was surprised with the service quality and rapidity at which they served the food. It was tasty. It is really value for money. Surely will be there next time.

Heard from others about the food and service. I am not disappointed and it is one of the best indian cuisine. Unfortunately i didnt know about the mehfil and buffet of saturday evening. I hope to go back there very soon.

you should be able to tell your customers if they are making too much noise so as not to distirb others.

restaurant was offering buy 1 get 1 and it does so very often. went there to eat briani. had such a bad briani. wonder if they know what they are serving to people. junk food. simply worst.

A very bad restaurant situated at caudan.. Food is worst !!! After ordering some food, I was checking the bill, which they added unnecessary things and when I inform the cashier guy, he went and now cancelling things that I didn't ask to do so! When receiving the food, it looks really bad and the taste was even WORST than I thought!! Very bad food and service at Caudan!

Service deplorable au niveau des commandes que la chargé de caisse prend sans savoir si le produit est disponible en stock, service médiocre à la "collection", la serveuse fais plusieurs choses à fois pour finalement servir un repas froid. J'ai non seulement reçu mes boulettes froide mais à la place de mon Riz Frite j'ai reçu un "pudding de riz" aussi gluant qu'un pot de colle. J'ai commandé des Sao Mai de poulet pour me rendre compte qu'i' d'agissait en fait de boulette de Chouchou enveloppé dans de la farine sans la moindre trace, ni gout ni odeur de poulet. PLUS JAMAIS !!!

Great food at even better prices- The food is of very high standard, and the prices are unbeatable. Especially recommend the daily 280Rs including vat menu which comes with a drink and a side dish!
