Good food, clean tasty better than any other fast food outlet. If you need halal food, Mississippi serves only halal food, so,you don't have to worry about anything. Reply to Monsieur Renaud ..... If you choose to eat fast food don't expect to be served on the best China and cutlery. Your comment was unjustified. Mississippi provides a variety of TV entertainment such a documentaries, films, serials and of course, the live Football international. Saturday evening is always busy, you can expect delay, but it's worthwhile waiting for. Highly recommended .

Excellent display of food and mouth watering octopus. Famous fish 'li corne' is amazing. Sometimes there is a long queue but we all get serve.

the food is excellent, mainly the fish 'corn' and the octopus'ourites' I tried almost all the dishes and i must say that i enjoyed all of them. The aubergine chutney 'satini bringelle' is one of the best i have tasted so far. I would recommend people to try that restaurant, its situated near corps de garde mountain.

Excellent mauritian food...roti ourite one of my fav n never seen anywhere else...nice atmosphere old style bar resto...would strongly recommend to anyone...most of the times busy n queues but we'll worth it

Went to get vegetarian take away. Had fried noodles and fried rice. We asked them to make sure they used enough vegetables in the food because we dont want any eggs or meat. When we came back to pick up the food, they charged us more for the extra vegetables which we never ordered, they said they had put extra vegetables in our noodles and rice. When we got home with our "extra vegetable" noodle and rice, we were shocked to find almost no vegies in either of the dishes... Rip off and dodgy and dishonest!!!!!!! The food was nothing special as well!!!! NOT WORTH IT!

A few (4-5) years ago, i used to attend this resto every weekend. I used to pay Rs1200 to Rs1800 for two people. We ate well. It was superb! Excellent service and the food : I cannot complain! It was so tasty, and looked very pleasant. I always returned every week for about a year. Then i stopped. I stopped because, the staff changed, the service WORSENED to the point that i do NOT want to go there anymore. The triple chocolate muffin was served previously with a piece of cheese, butter and jam. Now they do not serve with butter, so when i asked about it, they brought me a very dirty piece of butter from the kitchen. Previously, they served the superb coffee in beautiful cups, white colour, very presentable. Now, they serve in brown typical looking mugs. It is very ugly compared to what it was before. When i asked about the cups, one lady provided me with those once. The next time i went, i asked to be served in the white cups.. i was REFUSED and told that it does not exist and they never had those.. a lie. I adore the pecan nut pie, it is still delicious, its the ONLY reason i would go there now.

Ordered chicken got beef. Unacceptable. Never go there again. Those having restriction either due to faith or health don’t go there.

Worst restaurant in mauritius. They don’t serve what you order, item are missing in the meal and the chicken and beef patty is so dry. Taste like previously frozen beef and reheated chicken, no joke.

No regret to spend on the quality of food served. It's really value for money. Went during Christmas, it was a great atmosphere. I took a spare ribs - the best I ever had.

I have a big sweet tooth and this shop is my little heaven! My favorite coffee shop because cakes 10/10 service 10/10 (everytime i went there!) atmosphere 10/10

Excellent food and great taste and even better priced coming originally from India and staying in London now I have eaten all but this definitely comes in top 10. Keep it up definitely a must visit place in Mauritius!

The place is very well situated, open air, in the middle of the habour front, with view on the sea and town centre. Very affordable dishes and unique tastes. Love the Masala Dosas made there. A visit is recomended. :)

Je suis un habitué du restaurant namaste, certes, le prix est elevé, mais la qualité est au rendez-vous. Hier soir, nous avons diné à ce restaurant, les grillades du tandoor en entrée sont un véritable délice, le poulet est fondant, l'agneau aussi, sans les morceaux de gras que l'on retrouve ailleurs. La lumiere est faible, à repenser peut-tre, mais l'ambiance cree par les vieux murs de pierre, les chandeliers et une douce musique traditonnelle indienne est tres agreable ! Nos plats se font attendre, mais les serveurs sont a l'ecoute et agreables. Le plat arrive, servit dans de petits bols en cuivre tout a fait atipiques. La nourriture est delicieuse, on ne lesine pas sur la quantite, les morceaux de poulet sont gros et les parts aussi ! Comme dessert, une glace indienne delicieuse, joliment presentee avec une feuille de menthe. Une vertiable experience, a refaire !

Moi qui croyais faire une bonne experience culinaire et qui voulais déguster un bon plat indien. Je suis extremement déçu de mon repas. Apart la qualité d'un plats (sur quatre) qui etait moyen, le reste fut catastrophique pour le prix qu'on paye. Le service laisse a désirer car les serveurs sont incapable de vous répondre directement sans faire l'aller-retour en cuisine. Ils connaissent pas les plats car ils sont incapable de les reconnaitre quand ils vous le servent. Le responsable de salle n'est pas professionnelle. L'agneau est sec et froid et le comble, c'est quand le responsable de salle m'as répondu que c'est normale que l'agneau soit sec. La salle est sombre et c'est vraiement désagreable. Enfin meme le nan est pas terrible. Grand changement a faire s'il veulent continuer a travailler.
