I used to be very loyal to Foodlovers Bagatelle but since my last visit there on sunday 26-Apr-15, I deceided to never ever get there anymore. Reasons: 1. Service level has been continuously going down and despite complaints made with the so-called responsible, the situation kept on worsening 2. Last Sunday, I visited the restaurant with my wife, and 4 kids. The restaurant was empty inside (around 10hrs00 am) and I requested to have 2 tables together to accommodate us all, I requested the two tables at the far end of the restaurant, the staff told me to sit outside to do so !! Despite my complain to the so-called responsible, same was answer. I consider this approach totally contrary to basic principles of customer care.

I started using this cafe from the time it first opened. It was initially managed by Mr. Manny Hamdulay from South Africa who also oversaw the establishment of the same cafe in Grand Baie La Croisette. He recruited some very good female waiting & cooking staff & it was a pleasure to eat there. Eventually he returned to South Africa & quite quickly standards dropped. He had been a very visible manager who spoke to customers to ensure they enjoyed their visit. Quite soon after the change in management, clients were left to wait for their food for long periods, orders were incorrectly delivered & many regular customers stopped using the cafe. I myself walked out when the food I ordered did not arrive for nearly 30 minutes and then I was told that the item I chose was not available! Then many of the waitresses who had shown skills in their work became tired of being the scapegoats for the organisation & left for other jobs. I still use this cafe because the food has always been of good quality & well cooked, albeit seldom served hot. If you do the same I warn you to expect an unexplained wait. Management is still a rare sight & that is the root of any disappointment.

Nice place for a quick meal. Went there several time and the food was always good. Service, yes need some improvement.. Not so much choice in the menu but all the food taste great. Various style. from Italian to Mauritian, Chinese... Had try several meal but my favorite is the Pizza 4 cheese and the steak

Great location and great food is the highlight of the place. The cafe offers some great stuff to eat and drink. It is located at the corner of food lovers market at Bagatelle. I like to stop back after some food shopping when im expecting guests or to meet up friends. The atmosphere is warm and cosy. i feel that staff are more caring now that management have changed from the time it first opened. Waiting time is very reasonable (15mins)but do ask the waitress in advance for precision. the fresh fruit or veg juice are delicious and surely makes you want to stop by for. Pizza and salad are excellent choices for kids who dont like junk food. you'll be pleased and the price is very reasonable compared to other cafe in the vicinity.they also have a sushi station inside the market which can also be served in the cafe.worth checking it up :-)

Good food indeed..great atmosphere.. I do often visit this restaurant. I would say excellent food at agfordadable price.. I recommend everyone to visit this restaurant at least once!

The food is Ok..the service good but the restaurant is too noisy and not well decorated... Been there on some occasions some years ago so will have to stop by soon to see whether there is any change!!

I have been there many time,the decoration is beautiful,the cook is perfect, If you want to have a good time with friends,family or your special friend,it is the perfect place.

I been there many times. I taste many nice meals and my favourite dishes is chicken still fried Frandy's Styles and Sze- Chuan Prawns.

According to me this restaurant offers the best authentic Mauritian food and a friendly atmosphere at a very reasonable price. The food is of high quality for a very affordable price. It is a must to visit this place and believe me trying is adopting.

I had a terrible experience. In addition to the fact that the food was over priced, the staffs behaved very rudely towards local customers. Furthermore, there are not many choices for beverages. I ordered an iced tea which had absolutely no taste. It was like drinking plain water and ice. Also, it was pretty tough to find a parking spot over there. I would not recommend anyone to go there.

Went to Galitos, St Pierre. I ordered a crunchy salad. When the salad came, the rocket and sun-dried tomatoes were missing. When we asked the waitress, she took it back and returned after 10 minutes. She explained that the order was wrongly taken, which is absurd since the other salads could not be the same..What they tried to do was try their luck and not give all the ingredients. We pay for the food and the least is to give us what we ask for. What if someone does not know the difference between rocket and iceburg lettuce and sun dried tomatoes and cherry tomatoes. I think its a shame for doing this..
