I've always had praises for Chinese Wok, but not tonight. Ordered Peking Duck and was left very disappointed. At a whopping cost of MU1150, the duck was dry and was tasted nowhere close to Peking Duck. The duck even tasted like it was not roasted on the same day. My friends have all raved about CW's Peking Duck as being the best of Mauritius...I would err with caution..maybe it was bad luck for me, but that duck was for lack of a better word- abysmal. If I had not ordered the duck for take-away, it would have still been sitting at the restaurant. And do check your take-away box to make sure that there are enough condiments...

every time i go to curepipe i go to resto chino. so believe me if i go to curepipe thrice a week then i eat at resto chino thrice. i just can't tell you how i love the food at the restaurant.

The dishes are just perfect ! The atmosphere very pleasant and the service is well above all the other restaurants in Grand Baie. But my girlfriend is vegetarian, and I have to admit that for an Indian Restaurant, the veggie choice and respect of vegan people is really deplorable. When you know that one of your customer is vegetarian and has never eat meat, you try your best not to cut the naans with the same knife which cuts the tandoori chicken. So, the restaurant is perfect and I like the food there. But if you are vegetarian, they don't respect your 'food limtations' there...

Very nice alternative to KFC. You need to try the nuggets there. The burgers are also nice and the fries by far better than KFC. Take a bit longer, but you will enjoy your fast food (it's nothing else than junk food...but sometimes, junk food is good)

The place is very well situated, open air, in the middle of the habour front, with view on the sea and town centre. Very affordable dishes and unique tastes. Love the Masala Dosas made there. A visit is recomended. :)

I had a very bad experience for free delivery today Friday 25 May 2012. I made a call at 17.38 p.m on 2076789 ordering my pizza and a lady noted my phone no. At 18.40p.m I call the number again because no pizza has been delivered after more than 40 mins. Another lady answer the call and then inform me than the girl before has not noted my phone number properly and everything will be done in next 10-15mins. Finally I got my pizza at 19.20p.m nearly 2hrs later all my family has been punished because the person who had pick up my first call has not noted my phone no properly. Competition is tight nowadays between restaurant and a service like this is inacceptable

Have been there several times with my family in the past. Service was excellent when the restaurant opened last year. It has degraded over the months. The last time I went there was around 3 weeks ago. They forgot to serve bread. Waiting time is quite long. There is a promotion when you pay with your MCB card (e.g visa, mastercard). However, this is only valid from 3 to 5 p.m . I believe the timing has been scheduled as such so that people cannot benefit from the offer since it is neither during lunch time nor dinner time.

I have been to Nando's several time and the experience was rather good. However, I have noted that during peak hour, the waiters panick a bit and often provide bad service. I went there with my family last week end (mother's day). One customer complained because he was presented with a bill which did not correspond to what he ordered. The waiting time was long due to the restaurant being full. We ordered a full pack meal , 1 coke and 1 o.5L of water. To our astonishment, the coke was served to a table next to us and the waiter then noticed the blunder and took the coke from the other table and moved it to our table. Another waiter brought burger meals to our table which did not correspond to our order. We noticed that there was a loyalty program in place. When effecting payment at the counter, I enquired about this program and was told by the lady that I could not subscribe to the program since there was no application form available. When I enquired why no form was available, I was told that this was so since there were many persons who subscribed to the loyalty program and whose card were ready for collection but had not yet collected their card from the restaurant. I do not understand how this was linked to the fact that no application form was available and why there was an advert about the loyalty card on each table.

Nice food. For any north Indian dish, I would recommend this restaurant. Although they need to improve their non alcoholic drink quality and variety. Starters and Main Course are both quick nice. They however, need to increase variety in their menu listing. I have been their and know the menu by heart. Do try the paalak paneer.

This place has probably one of the best pastries but such a bad service and lack of imagination. The food is perfect and affordable, the cakes are fresh and quite exquisite. However, everything else is bad. They do not even have proper coffee or tea, what kind of pastry shop does not capitalise on good hot drinks? Everywhere in this country we have those machine with such distasteful coffee. Another thing that I really did not like about this place is the fact that they do not even give you a plate or fork. How am I supposed to eat the cake? Was I supposed to eat it from a paper bag with my bare hands? Maybe they should not have a stand in a foodcourt but rather a take-away only spot somewhere else. Having to eat such a delicious cake from a paper bag ruined the experience for me. It could have been very well a 10/10, but instead i give it a 6/10.

Keg & Marlin is the best place for leisure time. For hanging out with friend and relatives. Service very friendly.Enjoy mt week end there!

Was there for dinner this weekend. Everything was just perfect; the service, the place, the atmosphere & the food was simply delicious! The price is affordable. Will definitely go there again.

they state that an order a simple bdy cake should be done 3 days in advance.. very strange...simply un-believable!!!

Overall rating McDonalds with other Fast food retailers in Mauritius, The quality of food is consistently good. Upsizing the meal is relative cheap and worthwhile compare to others. Finally the Toys given with the happy meal are very good value and quality for the price of the meal, it is also very robust and doesn’t break like the toys you buy in the local’s shops for the same price.

the food was good, but unfortunatly the service was a real disaster! We were served after more than an hour and a half! MAny others customers left the restaurant angry because they have not been served after more than an hour! losts of customers were angry and frustrated we even had to ask to lay the table, there were no plates! a Really bad experience!
