Nous avons pris un repas à cette table d'hôtes, c'était compris dans notre excursion du jour avec notre tour opérateur, nous n'avons pas été déçus.Le personnel était très aimable, le repas très bon, le cadre fleuri et boisé très tranquille. Les enfants ont adoré l'aire de jeu qui leur est réservée ! A renouveler lors d'un prochain voyage à l'île Maurice !

Went to get vegetarian take away. Had fried noodles and fried rice. We asked them to make sure they used enough vegetables in the food because we dont want any eggs or meat. When we came back to pick up the food, they charged us more for the extra vegetables which we never ordered, they said they had put extra vegetables in our noodles and rice. When we got home with our "extra vegetable" noodle and rice, we were shocked to find almost no vegies in either of the dishes... Rip off and dodgy and dishonest!!!!!!! The food was nothing special as well!!!! NOT WORTH IT!

Restaurant dans un décor magnifique (great sumptuous place) Des plats délicats et savoureux (very very tasty food) UN service souriant et très professionnel (friendly but profesionnal staff) That place must be plebicited !!! for refined persons

Very nice restaurant, excellent food and great atmosphere, and the bar upstairs is a great place to have a drink while you wait for your meal. Nice concerts also, with great ambience! I will definitely go back there soon.

What a delight to know that there is a place to go and indulge in a great snack topped with a cake in Mauritius! Oh no mistake, there is plenty of cakes available on the island, in all kinds of colors, forms and prices, but Romy and her husband Blek create theirs to cover the needs of an oftentimes veggie island population without losing an inch of their creativity...and their cakes taste supergood, eggs or not. Well and there is more: those pizzas and of course the panini! Our whole family has become addicted to them already and it is to be counted with countless trips to Lallmatie. The cake studio is well organised, clean, nice menu, extremely friendly service and as far as the food goes all we can say is that it was love at first bite!

i cant belive they have this name! the burger was really bad, not worth going to.

Top evening. Restaurant was crowded so service was slow. Couple of beers missing from their menu. Food was excellent and well presented. Luved it!

i dont know why everyone likes this place. the service was poor though the restaurant was empty. they dont offer any free aperitif or digestifs like most places.

I am almost certain that Don Camilio uses pre-made pizza crusts. The crust was a horrible, dense, foamy bread. I say foamy because if the crust was poked with a fork, the holes would close up and appear that it was never stabbed. Although the crust had seemingly magical powers to heal itself, one thing it couldn’t do was connect with cheese. Every bit of cheese, sauce, and topping slid right off the crust. Sometimes this happens if there is too much sauce on a pizza, but there was actually very little sauce on this pie. It’s hard to tell exactly how much sauce the pizza started out with though because a lot of it got absorbed into the crust, making it kind of soggy. Perhaps this soggy crust couldn’t provide a proper surface for the cheese to adhere itself to. Whatever caused the flaws with this pizza, it was totally unacceptable from what was recommended as the “good Italian restaurant.” I’ve had better pizzas than this pie from the frozen food section at the Supermarket.

Nous avons testé ce restaurant à l'ouverture, puis presque un an plus tard. Il s'est encore amélioré. La salle est harmonieuse, avec un décor élégant et chaleureux. L'accueil est convivial, et le service plutôt rapide. La carte est inventive. Les portions sont généreuses. Les produits sont frais. Les cuissons et assaisonnements sont impeccables. L'addition (environ 1000 roupies / personne), qui situe ce restaurant dans le haut-de-gamme à Maurice, est justifiée compte tenu de la qualité de l'établissement.

Rozi Darbarr is by far the best restaurant for Indian Food I have been in Mauritius. The food is just amazing and tonight I was there for the 4th time since its opening. I have never been disappointed. The price is good compared to other restaurants of that level and the quality is irreproachable. The staff are very friendly and the owner sometimes welcome and interact with customers himself directly. Everything served is Halaal and very convenient for Muslim as it is alcohol free. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to dine at an affordable place in a very charming decor!

I just HAD to visit this place after reading about all the exciting reviews here. I tried not to expect too much, but even keeping my expectations low, I must say I left the place feeling disappointed. The chairs and tables badly need a make over. The cakes looked dry and too artificially colorful. Flies were all over the place, sometimes happily having a taste of the cakes on display. My friend had the panini. She said it tasted good enough, but the club sandwich I ordered had no tomatoes in it, no bacon, and it was too dry. Okay, some people here don't eat bacon, granted, but additional mayo and at least the tomatoes would have done the trick. I had an "éclair" afterwards. the cream filling was good, but other than that, it tasted like it was baked 2 or 3 days ago. Did I just pick the wrong cake or what? To be fair, the guy was friendly and helpful. But then, you had to pick up your orders from the counter to bring it to your table (and this place was not a food court). Plus some of stuffs we wanted were not available. Again, to be fair, the place really seemed quite popular among the locals, who kept pouring in. But even by general mauritian standards, I think the place lets you down.

Comment from the owner of the restaurant DON CAMILIO: "After having run this restaurant for 10 years, since 2 years there is funny people who comes to put some hugly comments on restaurant in grd baie, may be they are jalous of the good set up, of the atmosphere and of the busy as it is since 1999, Mr MB who didn't have the power to write is name is a really person who don't know what is food and a real pizza with real ingredient, he should go to pizza hut and try to make the difference. We are the same team since 10 years with real professional people, make the difference between the other restaurant, with the price , with the service that we give. I travel all around the world, but there is people who pretend to be cook in less than 2 months, so please stop writing stupidity when you don't know"

Has to be my favorite restaurant in Mauritius!such a nice place with nice service chaperoned by Mr. Ed!but moreover the food is just wow!everything you order seems to be for two persons!a mixed grill at rs260 cant possibly be eaten by a single person!fantastic place, fantastic food!a place to be!

The only restaurant in Rose-Hill worth to eat at. Cosy, clean with some renovation just done, this place is fab. Actually have to go and eat there at least twice a month. Good food but i will recommend the Chicken Salad.
