I PAID A VISIT THERE LAST FRIDAY(PUBLIC HOLIDAY). WAS A KIND OF DIMSUM DAY. LARGE VARIETY OF DIMSUM.DESPITE THE FACT THAT I WAITED 20 MINS TO HAVE MY DRINK, QUALITY OF FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD. PRICE WAS AVERAGE. STAYS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHINESE RESTAURANT.

Very gud briyani! Also gud fried rice...rapid service! Affordable..recommendable!

Each weekend we dine outside. It happens that we visit the MCDonald's Waterfront at least once in 2 months. At each visit I was unsatisfied. What happened yesterday was the tip of the iceberg. I asked for a take-out lunch and I was served. I had to wait for more than 5 minutes. After that I received the order but to my surprise the Pepsi was delivered to me bare without any packing. I asked for a paper bag but I got refused twice. And not to mention that there is a TOTAL lack of politeness. I would have appreciated to hear "We are sorry sir, but according to our policy we cannot dispense bags for drinks" but I got back "Pena droit". The cashier asked the server if he could give me one, but the reply was blunty "Pena droit, pas ti dire dans reunion gramatin". So, I was then aware it was a new company policy that was passed the same morning. I would like to ask you one thing sir, when we take a take away, are we supposed to take the drink in our hands and go through the city and even in buses if we do not have a means of transport!!!!!!!!! That's ridiculous. What's a simple paper bag? Finally, I had to buy a plastic bag. I was shocked to find the cost of the bag to be Rs 4. The bag is the same as the normal plastic bag we get in the supermarkets or elsewhere. What is so special that it is costing twice the price. I would like you to reply me. This is not my only bad experience. In the past I recalled that I asked for a ketchup and the waiter asked me for Rs. 3. I am more than fed up of such companies that do not offer a complete service. Instead they break down each and every items as a payable one whereas others are providing same AND WITH A SMILE. I have never been refused of plastic cutlery or ketchup or a plate at KFC. There are some marks that distinguish the outstanding service from others. As a disgruntled customer, I will never step again in any MCDonalds. There are other food companies here that REALLY CARES. Tout est excellent, l'endroit est super. L'accueil est tres chaleureux et l'equipe agreable. Je recommande cet endroit à tous ceux qui souhaitent manger local. Bisous à toute l'equipe

Among all the local restaurants I have been to, this one is by far the best. No wonder why it is always crowded during peak season. Perhaps the staff finds it hard to coop with the flux but overall they should not be judged too hardly. The place comes highly recommended nevertheless!!

Wonderful food with good spices. Nice service. Good atmosphere. A bit small though.

R & B Cake Studio is simply one of the best cake studio I have been to. The price and taste is really good. Unfortunately they have only 1 location but would be great if they had more studios around the island to share their tasty cakes. Regards

Went there with great expectations but was quite dissapointed. Find it like a typical mauritian restaurant, wonder how they came with the name ""La Mediterranee". As starter we took the "crevettes chaudes au vin blanc". We were shocked to see the prawns were not well properly devein...horrible for a restaurant image. Although the main course were quite nice, the price was a bit exorbitant as compared with similar level restaurant we visited. Sadly not recommended!!

i went to that resto with my gf. that was a very bad experience. we arived at 1.30 pm and the waiter(bad mood face) told us to hurry up because the chef was going home???wat's wrong with you mate. i need my time to choose. there come the menu, bUT every dish we would choose would not be available. the waiter proposed us some dishes but i was completely pissed off. i didnt want to be rude there, and 1 ordered a crispy chicken plate only for tasting. that was the worst crispy chicken i tasted. so oily and didnt had the chicken taste, please close that resto down.

Following my previous visit for lunch, I was eager to return to Lambic for dinner. This time, I ordered Venission with a "marchand de vin" sauce while my friend had the "Roulade de poulet". Again, the quality of the food was outstanding. For dessert, we ordered a chocolate fudge and "tuilles". It was one of the best we ever had in a restaurant. Perhaps the only recommendation I can make is to start upgrading their menu but also I reckon the portions could be slightly bigger. Highly recommended though and I will surely visit it again.

just the beer is ok but the food is not nice. The service also is terrible and there are jst some staff to take care of you. Had to wait longer to get someone to take the order

We love this restaurant and have been 5 times in 4 years. It's so picturesque, the food is great and the service relaxed and professional. If you can find it, this is must do on your Mauritian trip!

When we arrived we were asked to pick our own table and the menus arrive almost immeditely. They had a lot of choices and the prices were about 300 roupees. The food was delivered a bit to quick almost straight after our galic bread. The drinks were very nice and I had Pinacolada. The was was quite nice but the service was quite slow when coming to collect plates and give the bill. This restraunt is very nice and I would reccommend this to all.

Went there for a late lunch. My friend has a chicken breast with some mushroom sauce and I had shrimps with a creamy & spicy sauce and riz a l'anciene. Service was good although I reckon I there was barely a few tables to serve at that time. The food was great though and the beer excellent. The variety of beers on the menu and within the restaurant is impressive. As for the price, it is expensive but worth the quality of the food served. Will definitely go there again, perhaps for dinner.

Shamiana is one among the best Indian Restaurant in Mauritius, it has a very cool deco, pleasant welcome, and the menu is Superb. Bhye Idriss is always here to help you with the best menu combination and his great smile always make you at ease. I will recommend without any hesitation..

Cuisine authentique mauricienne. Rare sont les restaurants a l’île Maurice qui ose proposer des plats typiques comme le poisson salé; des plats qu'on retrouve dans les assiettes des habitants mauriciens. L'accueil est excellente; la déco superbe; le soir l'ambiance musicale est très appréciée.
