I must say they play great music..u cannot find a better one who plays indian n western together. But the place is not well ventilated.Too many smokers which made me feel suffocated n had to rush to the corridors for fresh air. The bar tends to be too crowded at times. Overall,it was a fantastic night but only poor ventilation prob which annoyed me a lot. The music n djs are supercool so its recommended!!!

I've tried all numbers possible to reach them because I wanted to order pizza but they never picked up the phone. I don't know whether they want to do business correctly. It was an order for around 50 persons. Then I phoned Pizza Hut and they picked up on the third ring and I placed the order.

très bon service, plats excellents (filet de boeuf, steak de calamars, brochettes de la mer) Service sans reproche et très avenant. par contre une clientèle qui laisse à désirer. Amie du patron.... Il faudra choisir les clients ou les amis.

suite a un repas pris un samedi soir (restaurant presque vide deja c'est bizare ) alors pour un repas a 6 personnes plus de 7000 roupies d'addition nous avons commander chacun un steak fritte bon pour les gens mauricien la cuisson de la viande ne les a pas dérangé mais moi qui suit francais le steak etant trop cuit pratiquement grillé j'ai renvoyé mon plat en cuisine pour en avoir un moins grillé en leur disant bien que je voulais mon steak saignant mais ils en on ramener un autre presque aussi cuit que le premier . conclusion c'est un restaurant tres cher pour de la cuisine moyenne et en cuisine il ne savent pas cuire la viande corectement .a mon prochain voyage a maurice je ne remettrais pas les pieds dans ce restaurant . Il n'y avait que 4 ou 5 table de prise durant toute la soirée d'un samedi donc aucun doute sur la raison qu'il n'y avait personne pour un samedi soir

Definitely a real Italian Pizza and for me the best pizza I've tasted on this island so far. Also, very recommended chilled red wine "CASAIA" (Rosso Toscano) - 50-50 Sangiovese & Carbernet Sauvignon. Service is average, sometimes a bit slow motion; but friendly.

Good meal. Enjoy a good time. Night club very good music and very good DJ. Recomendable to all. Have a great night.

It pays to complain if your complaint is reasonable and fair.Further to my previous review posted a few weeks ago i have to say that ocean basket has gone up in my estimations. I was contacted by the manager by email and offered a free sushi platter and drinks for when i next visited. I went last weekend and the sushi platter was EXCELLENT, best ive eaten on the island.Thanks for a good experience i will indeed come back and recommend you to friends and family keep up the good service and work !!!

This was the dining highlight of our trip to Le Toussrok, it is wonder why more people don't venture outside the hotel, this is such a wonderful restaurant, I wish we had discovered it earlier in our visit so we could have gone a few times. Highly recommended and a great salve after buffet food! Definitely worth the trip, and whilst a little on the expensive side, well worth it.

I use to eat there, but last time i had a very nice experience when i found a hair in my pizza. The owner told us that we are not going to pay anything and we reordered a small pizza as we were still hungry, but he refused and we were literally put out of the restaurant even i wanted to pay for the small pizza and my drinks. This was not really pleasant to have such issue in front of everyone.

COMLONE IS ONE OF YHE BEST EVEN THE DECORATION OF THE RESTO IS NT LIKE 5 STAR BUT THE FOOD QUALITY N THE SERVICE QUALITY COVER EVERYTHING N MAKE THE RESTO BEST.IVE BEEN THERE TWICE N WILL GO AGAIN KEEP IT ON GUYS .

We said we'd try the place since it's on our way home. When we got there, it looked more like a cheap snack then a restaurant or take-away place. We could see the kitchen from the counter and it looked bad (I don't want to think about hygienic issues)!!! The menu showed a poor selection (Chinese noodles / Chinese rice etc). We decided our food at home is much much better and so we nicely told them thanks but no thanks and headed home.

I was surprised! Positively of course. The place is beautifully designed, great pastoral atmosphere. We were in a hurry but needed our coffee rush, so we ordered 2 cappuccinos and 2 butter croissants. Coffee was good, as well as the croissants (finally butter and not margarine!). We told our waitress as soon as we got our order to bring us the bill, and so she did (first time in Mauritius I didn't feel I was bothering the waitress with my requests). I will surely come back there for a full meal.

The food is actually not bad at all. My husband tried the Cataplana and he really liked. I took a burger (you can rarely go wrong with a chicken burger). For entrees we ordered humus and pita bread, but unfortunately as in most Mauritius, they have no idea how to prepare a humus or pita breads. Very nice deco and atmosphere Service was average (sleepy waitresses). Yes, I would definitely come again.

We went there with my father and his friends a few days before NYE. The place was packed (seemed like they made deals with many organizations). Let's start with the good things - They allowed you to bring your own drinks, which is nice since as you know, drinks cost a lot in restaurants. Waiters were doing a good job in cleaning the tables (and they were working under a lot of pressure). Dj was playing music and people were dancing when they finished dinner. And for the most important part - food. Very average! Mostly the common stuff such as very oily entrees, gratin (not really a gratin but more like a mashed potato or "chouchou" with a tiny crumbs layer on top), and dried meat (the way they cooked the meat, they just dried most juices left in it). As for the deserts, after seeing how the entrees and the main courses were, we didn't really want to take any chance. You won't see me there in any possible future.

Our family (from S.A.) have been eating at Luigi's Restaurant once or twice a month for the last year and a half! The atmosphere is very relaxed and the owners are most hospitable. If you are looking for a real Italian pizza or pasta - this is it! The produce is always fresh and one of my favourites - fresh asparagus, is to die for! Everything that we have sampled on the menu including the specials on the board (this includes a huge selection of fresh fish and meat) have always been a winner and that is why we always go back for more! Well done Luigis! :)

un pur moment de magie et de reve que ce dejeuner aux milles couleurs et saveurs au Pescatore ! un cadre de charme avec sa terrasse ombragée au dessus de la mer, sa salle de restaurant au carrelage noir et blanc avec de jolis petits meubles un service plus que parfait et des mets exquis, originaux, superbement présentés certes le budget est elevé mais le plaisir est là et reste bien longtemps apres ...

I wont start this review off the way I want to. I'll start off being pleasant. My Fiance and I spend an average of Rs5000 at luigi's a month and up until Saturday night, we always had a fantastic time (service sometimes was a bit iffy, but everything else made up for it). We arrived as a table of 4 on Saturday night, we were seated and the waiter came along, not saying a word and held up his little book to show us he wanted to take orders, so we ordered our drinks, they arrived and so did the waiter (we weren't too sure knew how to speak) holding up his little book again , just to mention, we were not even showed the white board with the special. Anyway we ordered our food. When it came my friends Risotto looked like moosh (dogs food if i am honest) and tasted horrible, my pizza had sooooo much cheese on it and seemed to have not been cooked for long enough, it was sickening. I had one slice and called back the waiter (who we still weren't sure if he could talk :0 ) to ask him to put it back in the oven for a couple of minutes . When my pizza came back - there was NO DIFFERENCE, I had 1 more slice and that was that. After everyone had finished and our voiceless waiter cleared the table and brought the bill . PLEASE NOTE - WE HAD NOT BEEN OFFERED SECONDS DRINKS AFTER 30 MINUTES INTO THE MEAL OUR DRINKS WERE FINISHED, NO DESSERT WAS OFFERED NOR COFFEE - NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Upon going to Renata at the bar to give our bill , i inquired if we were actually allowed to have a coffee .......... wait for it ....... she said rudely and in such a loud manner " what ? ", " what do you want me to do , im here and you there" i then tried to explain and once again, even louder, I got a " what do you want me to do, im here and you are there, speak to my husband" he then appeared behind me and gently asked what was the problem as the two tables infront and kitchen staff to the left had all stopped to look at what was going on... i explained the whole thing and he said ' sorry do you want a coffee'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, I am a person that strives in my profession to offer the best service I can. For me, Direction comes from the top - well, now we all know why the service SUCKS at Luigi's , they are copying their boss. I know so many families that have stopped going to luigi's because of similar stories , its a real shame but i will not go back there.

We've been to this restaurant because we wanted to eat italian, and in Flic en Flac there's no other choice than this restaurant. The owner claims to know all about the italian kitchen just because he's italian, he's arrogant and agressive. Ok nevermind, I was hungry. As a first course, we tried the bruschetta and then my wife and I took a pizza. Frankly, I never had such an unpleasant experience for ages. It was simply inacceptable: dishes are cold, ingredients seem to have been chosen for their low price rather than for their quality plus we weren't served at the same time. The wine is awful too.

Very good restaurant in Plaine wilhems and especially the Grill which we loved a lot. Ed and his wonderful staff is so caring and wonderful. We will definitely go there again. We recommend all to go for diner there once. Food quality is perfect especially the Calamar Croustillant and the Mix grill portion. It was my daughter's birthday 6 yrs old and Ed hostess offered her an Ice Cream as dessert where they switched off the light in the restaurant and they sung happy birthday live for her with candle light. We were very pleased and overwhelmed by the team.

The place is nice and welcoming but price for food is a bit expensive and service is slow. Would certainly visit again but will get myself invited :)
