Le Bistrot & L'entrecote Steak house

Best Steak House in Grand Baie no doubt about it, i have been to the resturant with my wife many times over the past 2 years- and as long as the food and service will remain on this level we will keep on comming back here to dine. I would highly recommend the Japanese "Wagyu" steak it is unbelivable tender meat. I have recommended this resturant to many colleagues at work- and they have also been very impressed with the quality of the food.

Indeed the best steaks we have had by far in Mauritius at a reasonable price!!!! Good Service and well if you want to be served a fresh steak and not a frozen steak this is THE place to try. Sorry Amit cant agree with you there!!

either not suitable for rating food else that the writer was extremely biased!
They do have a ... Clue of the various degrees of meat grilling,let alone serving it with 'hard'rock cold french fries and a sauce that diddidn't taste what it was writen or described as!
Extremely dissapointed,downstairs,there's luigis restaurant,and I've been going there and having their various steak cuts for the past 5years and do take my word for it,at about 40 pc less the price,you do get a 'world-class' steak,cooked to perfection and served fresh!

Excellent...Un endroit que je recommende a tout le monde.
Le service est impeccable. La nouriture est exquise et l'ambiance est glamour. Rien de tel pour rendre un dinner agreable. Depuis que je vais a l'entrecote, je deviens tres difficile. Pour dire a quel point le niveau est tres haut. Et j'espere qu'il monte d'avantage en popularite.

talk about the food I have to loose some words about the athmsphere. The interior is quite modern lounge-like design with glasstables, glass decoration and squared plates. Though I must admit it does fit more toghether with a stylish roof top bar in a megacity than with the athmosphere of a steak house, It is very nice and once used to it you will love it. Garlic bread was served and fleures de sal and grinded pepper on the tables gave me the impression of being a well served guest. The food was of excellent quality and almost every dish comes with a variety of vegetables that are in my opinion the only point of criticism, they seemed a bit soft and not freshly steamed. All other food was nicely prepared and the portions were of perfect size and were served very fast. Food and service absolutely justify a little higher price and if I could afford it I would visit this restaurant every day!

I wanted to try it ever since it moved from Tamarin to Grand Baie. The black angus "entrecote" steak was one of the best I've ever had (in the world)! My friend had the fillet, and he said it was awesome too. The service is good, faster than expected, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They just fall short of 'excellent' because they forgot my lobster bisque...! but i'll try it next time =)
