Chutney Restaurant

Last time I went there, the food was okay but not exceptional.
A beer would have been nice, but the restaurant was strictly non-alcoholic.

The lady at the counter, was however, superb and improved the overall atmosphere!

We tried this restaurant on Valentine's day in 2009. The place is decorated with good taste and well ventilated. We were seated right in front of two singers/ musicians hired for the occasion and they played romantic songs which set the mood with the right atmosphere as we had a candlelight dinner with a surprise gift [a sented fake rose in a box] for my wife on the table...

as on all tables.

But the service was real slow, we had a frozen dinner, the food was not attended by a waiter to check in the supply as the buffet if it could be called such as there was not a real variety of food..so disappointed by the food. We had to wave like mad to catch the attention of the waiters who were hanging like mosquitoes around a tableful of some 10 foreigners to bring some naan for us to eat with the food.

We saw more couples coming so couldn't enjoy the food really as because of the waiting and all the wavering lol, we weren't left much time eating and the food wasn't mouth watering so left our table for another couple.

Don't think we'll try this restaurant again
