Recipe Overview
Delicious & light, these eggless cookies are traditional Indian cookies that can easily be prepared at home. It is equally liked by both adults and children as a popular teatime snack or simply as sweet treat. Traditionally made with chickpea flour and ghee, semolina and oil have been substituted instead.
Recipe Ingredients
- 1 Cup Semolina (Greo)
- 3 Cup Self-Raising Flour
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Nutmeg Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Cardamon Powder (Elaichi)
- 1 Cup Cooking Oil
- 3 Tablespoon Butter
Instructions
- Mix all Ingredients
- Grease oven tray
- Make the dough into sphere and flatten
- Add decoration mark using a knife (Optional)
- Space well as it beomes larger
- Place in oven and cool for 20 mins at 170 C
- After 20 mins, allow to cool
- Serve with a hot tea
