Recipe Overview
Some prefer barbecue sardines while others prefer them fried. The sardine fritters can be served as an aperitif or as a main dish.
Recipe Ingredients
- 2 kg of sardines
- 300g flour
- 3 eggs
- ½ tea glass of oil
- Salt pepper
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp chopped parsley
- ½ tsp curry
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Clean the sardines by removing the bones.
- Mix the flour with salt, pepper, curry, oil, yeast and eggs in a bowl until you get a runny dough (like pancake batter).
- Heat the oil. Dip the sardines in the batter.
- Glue them two by two then fry them in hot oil.
- Put the sardine fritters in a paper towel.
- Sprinkle with parsley then serve.
