Recipe Overview
Pickled chillies are made out of either green or red chillies; the choice is yours. Combined with garlic, and tamarin, this condiment can be added to anything for a touch of spiciness. Add it to your noodles, sandwiches, rice dishes or anything else.
Recipe Ingredients
- 1 Lb chilli
- 2 tbsp garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp mustard, crushed
- 1 tbsp chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp tumeric
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp tamarin
- 5 tbsp oil
Instructions
- In a blender, blend the chillies
- Into the crushed chillies add the following spices, tumeric, garlic, mustard salt and chilli flakes and mix them well
- Now add the tamarind and mix
- Finally add the oil and mix well until the chilli is well incorporate into the oil
- Store in sterilised jars in fridge for upto 1 month
