Riz Frite Crevette (Fried Rice Prawn) Recipe

Recipe Overview

Quick, easy and perfect for those days when you have too much left over rice, or aren’t sure what to make for dinner. Once all ingredients have been prepped, simply toss them all together in a wok and serve.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 3 plates cooked basmati rice
  • Raw prawn, clean and deveined
  • 2 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Rice wine Vinegar
  • Black pepper and monosodium glutamate
  • 4 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • Garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • Garlic chives
  • Spring onion
  • Eggs
  • Mushrooms
  • Thin sliced cabbage and carrots


  • Add soy sauce and fish sauce in a bowl with sesame oil, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar and garlic sauce. Pinch of black pepper and monosodium glutamate
  • Mix well
  • Marinate the prawns with 3 tbsp of the mixture and set aside
  • Heat oil in wok on high
  • Fry prawns for 4 mins, set aside
  • In same wok, quick stir fry cabbage
  • Add carrots, pepper and monosodium glutamate and stir
  • Add garlic chives and mushrooms and stir for 2 mins
  • Add rice and mix for 2 mins until its properly mixed
  • Add spring onion
  • Add sauces and mix well
  • Finally add prawns to mix, fry until prawns are cooked
  • Serve
