Recipe Overview
Chicken Cutlet is a fusion recipe which is loved by people of all age groups. It is a fairly easy and quick snack recipe that can be served with green chutney or chilli sauce.
Recipe Ingredients
- 500g Boneless Chicken
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- Salt
- Oil
- Fine Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Fine Chopped Mint Leaves
- Ginger and Garlic Paste
- Breadcrumb
- Chicken Cutlet (or Garam Masala)
- Beaten Eggs
- Piece of leftover Bread (optional)
- Fried Onions (optional)
Instructions
- Mince chicken in a grinder
- Season the minced chicken with salt
- Add 3 tsp of ginger and garlic paste
- Add 2 tsp of chicken cutlet spices (or you can use garam masala)
- Add the finely chopped coriander, onions and mint
- Add fried onions (optional)
- Add soaked and drained leftover bread
- Mix well
- Shape into small balls and flatten in breadcrumbs
- Leave in fridge for 2 hours or until ready to consume
- Heat oil in a deep pan over moderate flame
- Dip the patty in beaten egg
- Fry the cutlets until crisp and golden brown
