Catless Poulet (Chicken Cutlet Patty) Recipe


Recipe Overview

Chicken Cutlet is a fusion recipe which is loved by people of all age groups. It is a fairly easy and quick snack recipe that can be served with green chutney or chilli sauce.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 500g Boneless Chicken
  • 1 Finely Chopped Onion
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Fine Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Fine Chopped Mint Leaves
  • Ginger and Garlic Paste
  • Breadcrumb
  • Chicken Cutlet (or Garam Masala)
  • Beaten Eggs
  • Piece of leftover Bread (optional)
  • Fried Onions (optional)

Instructions

  • Mince chicken in a grinder
  • Season the minced chicken with salt
  • Add 3 tsp of ginger and garlic paste
  • Add 2 tsp of chicken cutlet spices (or you can use garam masala)
  • Add the finely chopped coriander, onions and mint
  • Add fried onions (optional)
  • Add soaked and drained leftover bread
  • Mix well
  • Shape into small balls and flatten in breadcrumbs
  • Leave in fridge for 2 hours or until ready to consume
  • Heat oil in a deep pan over moderate flame
  • Dip the patty in beaten egg
  • Fry the cutlets until crisp and golden brown
