For lunch you will be served a typical Mauritian menu including a 3-course meal accompanied with a hot drink. Enjoy the famed local dishes of Braised deer with local spices (a specialty of Le Fangourin), breadfruit medallions accompanied with fried rice and cucumber salad as a main course, before moving on to dessert- Mango mousse with grilled coconut flakes. End your meal with a hot infusion or a cup of coffee, while taking in the splendid views.

The restaurant, nestled at the heart of the Beau Plan estate, offers an exclusive and exceptional setting for lunches and private receptions. The surrounding scenery is an invitation to relaxation and escapism: it breathes tropical luxuriance with its lush coconut and palm groves, century-old flamboyants and magnificent views of Pieter Both mountain.
Le Fangourin specialises in sophisticated Creole cuisine and all sorts of sugary delights. Inspired by the unique flavours of the island, the restaurant's cuisine maintains a rich Mauritian culinary heritage. With great care, the chefs also attempt to inculcate new flavours while preserving the Mauritian culinary tradition.
Those attending evening receptions will succumb to the private estate’s delicate charm. Its verdant greenery, terrace and the factory’s magnificent stone chimney are skillfully lit at night, infusing the estate’s majestic beauty with a gentle warmth. Featuring a beautiful traditional veranda, a private room offering views over a grove of palm trees and an air-conditioned dining room, the restaurant can accommodate up to 80 people during the day and up to 1000 guests for private receptions.
Moreover, the strategic position of the restaurant (between Port Louis and Grand Bay) makes it an ideal spot for business people as well as visitors.
