About the Ki Pou Kwi at Domaine des Aubineaux Package
Get an exciting opportunity to learn more about authentic Mauritian Cuisine at Domaine des Aubineaux! Restaurants.mu brings to you the famous cooking class by the Chef of the estate.
In this package you will learn about Mauritian cuisine and savour delicious food. Enjoy a culinary voyage while learning and preparing succulent dishes with the aid of a Chef and feast on some very local dishes. You will leave Domaine des Aubineaux with many memories to cherish.
Upon arrival, each team will be given the list of ingredients and a ‘panier bazar’ before heading to the local market to purchase the ingredients while being accompanied by the Chef. But before your trip to the market, have an energising breakfast accompanied by the iconic Bois Cheri tea, to kick start your day.
Once back to Domaine des Aubineaux, the teams will start the preparation of the dishes. While preparing the dishes under the supervision of the Chef, the participants will also be able to discover local products. To finish off, the teams will set up the plates and enjoy tasting the dishes which they happily prepared and also get to taste the famous Saint Aubin Rum.
Make sure to note down all the little tips and tricks of the Chef which can be handy later in your kitchen.

Few steps away from the town of Curepipe, amidst an oasis of greenery, peace and tranquility is the Domaine des Aubineaux.
Les Aubineaux Restaurant is nestled in the heart of the colonial house which was built in 1872. Made out of teak and local woods from demolished ships, the old mansion was one of the first to be equipped with electricity.
