i've got a very bad experience today at mac do situated in portlouis, don't know why but today i've seen a bad face of this fast food. i've been waiting for a century before finnaly getting my meal ready and this a very negative aspects as being a fast food one should have been served in within seconds and besides that i've taken two meals but the cashier gave me only one tomato and chilli sauce and i have asked her for two but she makes it as if she didn't care about what i was saying. i insisted as i bought two meals but still nothing or response from her.so, i've asked for the manager and get finally my chilli sauce. i've wasted nearly 30 mins dealing with this stupid thing about a chilli sauce, i really think that mac do is a good place for chilling but with some incompetent staff i really think that this would affect negatively the image of this organisation so please take my request into granted and please don't forget that " LE CLIENT EST ROI " hope to get a reply soon thank you.

Each weekend we dine outside. It happens that we visit the MCDonald's Waterfront at least once in 2 months. At each visit I was unsatisfied. What happened yesterday was the tip of the iceberg. I asked for a take-out lunch and I was served. I had to wait for more than 5 minutes. After that I received the order but to my surprise the Pepsi was delivered to me bare without any packing. I asked for a paper bag but I got refused twice. And not to mention that there is a TOTAL lack of politeness. I would have appreciated to hear "We are sorry sir, but according to our policy we cannot dispense bags for drinks" but I got back "Pena droit". The cashier asked the server if he could give me one, but the reply was blunty "Pena droit, pas ti dire dans reunion gramatin". So, I was then aware it was a new company policy that was passed the same morning. I would like to ask you one thing sir, when we take a take away, are we supposed to take the drink in our hands and go through the city and even in buses if we do not have a means of transport!!!!!!!!! That's ridiculous. What's a simple paper bag? Finally, I had to buy a plastic bag. I was shocked to find the cost of the bag to be Rs 4. The bag is the same as the normal plastic bag we get in the supermarkets or elsewhere. What is so special that it is costing twice the price. I would like you to reply me. This is not my only bad experience. In the past I recalled that I asked for a ketchup and the waiter asked me for Rs. 3. I am more than fed up of such companies that do not offer a complete service. Instead they break down each and every items as a payable one whereas others are providing same AND WITH A SMILE. I have never been refused of plastic cutlery or ketchup or a plate at KFC. There are some marks that distinguish the outstanding service from others. As a disgruntled customer, I will never step again in any MCDonalds. There are other food companies here that REALLY CARES. French fries = often soft, stale and mushy, indigestible. Mc Chicken = not enought Mayonnaise. A fraction of the serving compared to other McD in EU. Soft drink = lack fizzyness and watered down. Ice cream, Mcflurry and Milk shake. Had a bad stomach. Possibly, the Milkshake machine is not clean or at least not properly cleaned after close of business or possibly the machine is switched off causing the milk not to remain refrigerated and to go stale. Apple pie = often out of stock. Service = very inconsistent as at one time Service is average and at other time service is damn slow and cashiers are often not courteous.

Bonjour, Depuis 3 semaines, chaque jeudi, je pars avec mon fils de 2 ans a votre restaurant, pour le dejeuner, le menu etait tres bon, sauf seul petit bemol, mon fils se retrouve avec 3 meme jouets, des petites voiture bleues il en a 3 de la meme couleur, ca ne m'attire pas pour prendre un autre happy meal cette semaine-ci. On devrait changer les jouets chaque semaine et non-pas la meme chose pendant 3 semaines. Merci de prendre en consideration ma demande

Good morning I really like mcdonald but can't understand why did i have to pay more for a like mayonnaise for my chips I was in london and i don't have to pay for it their I need to understand??

The menu has remained same for the last 3 years. Unacceptable. The toilet is very dirty, smell very bad and the equipment is below normal standard.

On 05.01.2012, i visited the MC Donald Restaurant of Phoenix with my two children and to my surprise, there were NO nuggets, NO ketchup, NO chilli & sundae was available only in strawberry topings. Only 4 staff were present, 2 in kitchen and 2 in customer facing. I was shocked to note such excrebale service provided at an international franchise.

I was at McDonald's Port Louis on 19/01/2012, with a friend from England, and I was very very much disappointed by the lack of professionalism and client service by the floor manager (who is supposed to be the most client friendly guy). I take my meal and go upstairs to have my meal and show my england friend Mauritian restaurants. We start eating..N 'drip drip'.. 2 drops of water fall on my head. I look upwards.. N there's an old rusty air vent on top of up which is dripping rusty water.. :-S.. I say..ok.. not an issue.. its fallen on my head.. Let us change places without making a fuss (Like most mauritians do!!).. 'drip drip drip' THIS TIME ON MY BURGER! This time i get really pissed off and my English friend Cs 'haha..Welcome to Mauritius'!. I get downstairs..Call for the floor manager.. N I explained what happened.. The guy looked at the ceiling..saw the rusty water STILL dripping..n said 'There's is nothing i can do about this sir..this is not my problem..' WHAT?? I come to YOUR restaurant..n you 'cant do anything?'. I wasnt expecting the manager to fall at my feet and apologise.. But a simple 'Sorry sir, we apologise.. this wont happen again..' EVEN if he had not given me another burger..i dnt care..but the least is to apologise for smething that is wrong and very unhygienic. I am very very disappointed that another international fast food, after KFC, who has neglected hygiene in their restaurant! And the thing is, today it is AC water.. tomorrow it might be something else in their kitchen (Just for info..the toilet is just above the kitchen).. Very poor client service and average food.. I think we deserve better than this! But sincerely.. we mauritians are too lenient about these issues..n it is very bad for our image.. as my english friend told me 'Welcome to mauritius..' A pretty bad experience for him and far more for me!

One of the worst franchises I even seen, have they ever heard about keeping some stock? I like the burgers prepared without using oil, but I can't rate any junk food positively! Only choice for Big Mac addicts, other places don't have beef! Not worth to waste more words on it, but must to satisfy yourself with Big Mac in Mauritius :D

Overall rating McDonalds with other Fast food retailers in Mauritius, The quality of food is consistently good. Upsizing the meal is relative cheap and worthwhile compare to others. Finally the Toys given with the happy meal are very good value and quality for the price of the meal, it is also very robust and doesn’t break like the toys you buy in the local’s shops for the same price.

Overall the food is satisfactory. But the customer service is very bad. How come you ask for additional ketchup or chilli and they dont give you. That's ridiculous.

Good food but oily chips. Incompetent staff(not all but most of them). I once had to wait at the take away service because a staff did not not know the cost of a mac chicken meal and she asked me several times about it. She did not even know that all meals and their detailed costs are displayed near the counters. Despite me telling her, she did not make the effort to even check the prices, she was just standing there waiting for i don't know what till sme1 else helped me. Very dirty and smelly toilets. Its very hot and there are no windows upstairs. With so many people sitting close to each other and no air circulation, it feels kind of dirty to eat there. The atmosphere is suffocating. Hope that measures will be taken to make the place hygienic specially the room upstairs.

Je n`ai jamais vu un restaurant rapide aussi lamentable, pire que meme dans la rue a port louis. J`ai commandé un filet o fish, a ma grande surprise premierement de l`epaisseur du filet deuxièmement ilson tellement ete radin sur la sauce que le morceau de panure collait au pain comme de la colle. Pas de salade le pire c qu`ils mettent la moitié seulement de carré de fromage destiné a faire des hamburgers. Lorsque j`ai interpellé la gérante, elle m`a retorqué que ceci est la norme.En gros la norme chez mc do a maurice c`est de duper les gens, je ne recommande personne mc do a maurice.

jai ete a Mc do de phoenix hier, jai passer une commande de grill chicken. Apres avoir pris place au resto,je prend ma premiere bouchee, a mon grand ettonement jai un poulet mal cuit... de 1. le poulet est rosé style bouilli de 2. le poulet est si petit que sa prennait que la moitier du pain de 3. le pain tremper avec la mayonaise... je fait appeler le manager, Mr Vimal L. j'explique mon cas. il me dit non, il ne fait que son travail, car tout vien de Mc Do international. je demandes bein si cest bien respecter, quel est le grammage de votre poulet, il mes impossible de repondre. coté cuisson , "si ou tro connai vinn gueter couma nou cuit poul griller la" me faisant rentrer en cuisine equiper de hairnet. La je decouvri, le pain dans des cretes poser a meme le sol, cuisson preparé a coté du seau avec les produits de dans. une odeurs de pouriture, le personel sans "hairnet" cheveux lachés pour les filles, poulet paner dans des bacs. le pire de tout cette mesaventure cest que je me suis fait insulter par le personels. Bref, une mauvaise experience.

Mc donald is the best. Tasty food and even the price is affordable.Different tasty outlets.

I am very shocked that a family restaurant plays music with explicit lyrics. I have had this experience twice at the Port Louis Mcdonalds and on both occasions informed that staff. The music sounded as if we were in a night club!!! The ''F'' and ''S'' words were very audible in the music. Something really needs to be done about this. I will not bring my kids there again

Mc Donald's need to review its menu. It innovates the restaurant but the menu remains the same. Mc Donald's introduce the 'Grand Chicken' and that's all. Grateful if you could introduce menu with bacon. If they have been able to introduce beef near 'ISCON' at Phoenix, I guess that bacon would not be an issue as well. In regards to McDonald's service- the food and beverage manager their need to read about McDonald's Standards as they are representing a franchise and the service needs to be the same everywhere. Many time we enter that fast food and we need to wait about 15 minutes after ordering to have our lunch. Waiting more than 15 minutes to get the order, then McDonald's should anymore appear as a fast food, it will need to change category. McDonald's should benchmark itself to its competitors. Your food is good overall.. however the portion in different branches are different... how come at riche terre's outlet i get much more chips and at port louis i get only half portion for a large menu. The staff at port louis' outlet are rude. Service quality is really poor...

La nourriture était vraiment bonne. Mais ma copine et moi avons été contrariés après qu'un des membres du staff vienne nous demander de partir parce qu'il n'y avait plus de table de libre dans le restaurant. Je comprend que la personne ne faisait que son travail et ne la blâme pas parce qu'elle était vraiment gentille avec nous. Mais ça se fait pas de mettre les gens à la porte comme ça. En plus de ça ma copine n'avait toujours pas terminer son plat.
