Food quality is excellent, however, the service is really bad. On a friday night there were only 3 waiters, we had to wait for almost an hour and a half for the food to come. The worst part was that people who came after us got their food before us. I dont think thats fair. The food quality might be good, but the service is offputting.

Salaam everybody. I always have my lunch or dinner at Star Deg , whenever am at Port-Louis. And I appreciate it..Its the best and UNIQUE...I work in a hotel T Qalodyne..I mentioned Star Deg to the clients there..and I even bring one client, a couple, to take Briani there and have it at Citadel. The Stars restaurant serves the finest Cape food meanwhile at the Pebbles restaurant, you get to choose amongst delightful Indian spiced curries accompanied by Creole & Mauritian traditions with fresh salads using local ingredients. You can mix and match, and eat steak alongside bunny chouw! The restaurant also offered a healthy cuisine menu with a variety of 70 dishes for guests who are looking for healthier and lighter selections. Expertly cooked, ready to order then served by the friendly staff. The food variety is broad enough to suit all your desires, even our vegan friend was surprised by amazing dishes. The Pebbles Salad served with Juicy King Prawns become my favorite as those were the most tender prawn I have ever tasted. My wife loved the Indian touch in everything. The wine list originated by South African had excellent choices. However I was a little disappointed with most Mauritian Hotel wine list as the prices were stupendous.

Brunch du dimanche excellent. Le brunch du dimanche proposé par cet hôtel est raffiné, copieux .. le tout dans une ambiance sereine et un magnifique cadre. Brunch servi au restaurant près de la piscine de cet hôtel magnifique. Les quatre entrées, quatre plats, et le buffet de desserts sont préparés avec soin et très copieux. Service aimable et souriant. Une bonne idée pour faire découvrir cet hôtel que nous ne connaissions pas. Nous reviendrons et cette fois pour quelques nuits.

Service mediocre: Accueil froid Attente de 20 minutes pour un burger Payer Rs. 10 pour du mayonnaise alors qu'un menu coute Rs. 300. Meme chez le marchand de kebab qui vend du pain à rs.50 donne de la mayonnaise gratuitement!!! Burger froid à la reception

le steers de cascavelle a une excellente service.j'y ete hier et j'etais bien acceuillis par le caisier...christopher.j'avais comande des frites et steak chips salad et aussi un king steers combo!!! j;ai apprecie la facon il m'a propose les extras!!!! et selon lui c'est super....quand j'ai mange c'etait trop bon!!! et il m'a aussi dit que le fait aussi la livraison a domicile

Was not given a copy of my receipt by your salesman who also did not handle our complaint quite well by being unable to provide us with a satisfactory service and a satisfactory explanation. Was not satisfied with your combo meal since it was downgraded and did not reflect what you had on your board. We will never visit Steers at Ebene Phoenix again as we felt cheated and duped.

NOT VALUE FOR MONEY! I did not receive my receipt back when I came to take my order. I did not get any sauce to eat the burger with and no tissue paper was received to wipe our mouth!

They gave me the wrong order. After they asked me chicken or beef, I said chicken and they gave me beef. Came home disappointed.

Worst experience. I ordered a beef burger at at Rs 335.- In return I received a small chicken burger worth at least Rs 150.- or less. Very dissapointed and upset when arriving at home. I phoned them - worst no one dare to answer the phone. Friends and relatives will surely say bye-bye to this poor restaurant. When I call

Nunja, was soll ich sagen? Beim ersten mal dachte ich: "ok, der Koch hat einen schlechten Tag und ein Fastfood-Stand ist ja auch nichts für Gourmets aber beim zweiten mal war es noch schlechter. Das Steak wirkte wie gekocht, war mit der Faser geschnitten und die Kuh war wohl schon Urgroßmutter?! Also auch wenn man nur schnell mal was essen möchte, macht dieses "Restaurant" der Steakhaus-Küche richtig Schande! Sorry.

My husband and i were craving for a yummy burger, so we went at Steers. We were very satisfied ,they were so nice to us and they even proposed us their free delivery service.

I went to Steers Grand Bay on 9May 2011. Ordered meal and took in take away back home. While serving i noticed missing portions for which i paid. I phoned back and talked to the guy who served me ( his name appears on the receipt ). He argued that he delivered all i ordered, I told him why I would phone back if it was the case, he did charge for my order but portions went missing. The manager took the phone and told me he will send a guy to collect and they will check, meanwhile i took photos of the portion delivered as well as the receipt. After 2 hours a guy on scooter came ( I live 5 mins by car to Steers Grand Bay ). He took the portion and since then I never had any replacement, neither did they apologised or refunded my money. Two days back I phoned to the head office and the person in charge told me nothing could be done about it and hang up the phone abruptly. Disgusting service, and on top i lost both meal + money !!

Ordered 1 beef king steers.The cashier did not know if cheese was included in price.The latter asked the cook and he replied to me rudely.After 10 mins I collected the burger which was slightly warm and not comparable to the last king steers i ate 2 months ago.The burger was really thin as if they sliced 1 burger into 2.I could eat it without a wide open mouth.It was like a normal burger.At the end i was still hungry.My wife had a beef steer burger which was twice thicker. Kindly make an anonymeous order with the same team of this evening..

We only grabbed a takeaway from this place after a long day, so we didn't have high expectations. I got a macaroni de fruits de mer, a couple of pizzas and the pain d'ail. The pain d'ail was decidely odd, not unpleasant, but odd. the rest of it was excellent. The macaroni was superb, and the pizzas far in excess of anything I've had in a UK restaurant, let alone takeway. Very pleased with this, a good fair price, and a pleasant friendly service too.

I went to Stenios a number of times when I was in Mauritius in April. I would thoroughly recommend a number of the dishes abd the carbonara pizza is a must to try! Yumtastic :-)

Food and service is excellent. The best pizzas and pasta we have ever tasted. No Pizza I have had in europe comes close to Stenio's.I thouroughly Recommend.
