Went there for Valentine for lunch and was not impressed at all. Food was mostly undercooked. Worse was the presence of a lot of flies at the restaurant which the staff were oblivious to.

A pretentious restaurant, the quality of the food is average. The thai soup I had was rubbish and reminded me of the stuff they sell in packets. Although the rest of the dishes were ok, the prices of them should warrant a better experience. Chicken dishes were undercooked.

French fries = often soft, stale and mushy, indigestible. Mc Chicken = not enought Mayonnaise. A fraction of the serving compared to other McD in EU. Soft drink = lack fizzyness and watered down. Ice cream, Mcflurry and Milk shake. Had a bad stomach. Possibly, the Milkshake machine is not clean or at least not properly cleaned after close of business or possibly the machine is switched off causing the milk not to remain refrigerated and to go stale. Apple pie = often out of stock. Service = very inconsistent as at one time Service is average and at other time service is damn slow and cashiers are often not courteous.

went there on sunday as this was the only place open. service was slow and the food looked like a total artificial coloring and not enjoyable. We had our baby there and even though we told them he was hungry, no bread or fast dish came. The food that did come was not good and later had a very bad stomach ace.

Their crunchy calamari is A MUST to have if you don't have any related allergies from "seafood" !! :-D their portion is too less though for the price (which is still very affordable) :) enjoy it.

We usually go to First on saturdays for Dim Sums. Having tried dim sums at a number of place, I can vouch for the taste, quality and value for money. The starters are also very good and above all service is impecable. Recommended, especially for their dim sums

Location is good and enough seating for big groups. Service is rather poor and slow. Food is overcooked and not tasty. Prices are very good but quality can certainly improve.

Great view. Food is terribly over priced. You don't get value for money. Prices are 5 star but the place is just a tiny restaurant on the beach.

What a beautiful place !! The ambiance is great and looks magical at night. The food never disappoints and the service is super. I would certainly recommend it to everyone who enjoys Chinese food.

Went there for lunch. Second time visiting it. However, first time been to the newly located, renovated and splendidly refurbished restaurant.....amazed by the new set up...as usual service was impeccable and enjoyed out the indian food. surely one the best indian food restaurant in Mauritius worth to revisit again and recommended to many lovers of such food.

I've previously had nothing but excellent reviews for this restaurant but last night I had one of the worst dining experiences in Mauritius. The service was disgusting and the food even worse. We (8 in total) arrived at 8pm, had to ask 45min later for our drinks order to be taken. Our starters finally arrived at 10pm (we asked for some bread at least but we were told they had run out & 2 of the ladies are pregnant so you can imagine how hungry we were). The mains: lamb, pork, steak - not one was good. The lamb and pork were dry and the 2 guys who ordered the same steaks had completely different dishes - one arrived with sloppy veg the other arrived with stale potatoe wedges (I'm not exagerating when I say stale). I found a nice crissy hair in my dried out lamb... As compensation they offered me a free dessert but by this time it was middnight and we were told we would have to wait 25 minutes for ANY dessert...... The manager stayed behind the till all night, not once showing his face...... it could not have gotten any worse!!!

We heard a lot about this place so we went in a big group for a fun outing. But what a disaster it was ! The service was so poor and slow. The steamed fish was overcooked and had to be sent back. The chicken and prawns had no taste at all. The rice and noodles arrived 20 minutes after the other dishes !!! The only positive are the prices and the location. The waiters certainly need to be trained.

On two consecutive sundays i was juped by the delivery staffs.After the drive thru and reaching home,i was surprised that i did not received one Mc Spicy Chicken burger and 6 Nugggets respectively. I think that the staffs on delivery are not attentive at all i highly recommend to check your meal before leaving the pick up point.

the food, service was just excellent, higher than my expectations. I have been in various five-class restaurants but this one is just fantastics. Highly recommended (the fees are very reasonable)

Just great! I was there last year and huge transformation has been done since. The restaurant is fully air condition, the paint has changed so nicely, toilets are very clean and service and food is wonderful. The new menu is just great and very affordable for local people and tourists. People must not get trap with the M restaurant find at the entry of bois cheri tea estate. The food there, is very expensive and also the taxi man take 400 rupees on the head of each tourist customers who goes there. It is unacceptable and we all got trapped the first time we went to bois cheri. The bois cheri restaurant is on top of a hill with a beautiful lake on one side and a wonderful view on the deep south of the island. A MUST!

Great place and atmosphere. The restaurant setup makes you feel like you are having lunch at a relative`s place rather than in a restaurant. So the mood is very casual and relaxed. There`s a buffet on saturdays and its quite expensive per person but you can help yourself to any amount you like. So be sure to go there on an empty stomach if you feel like taking the buffet. On the overall the food is fine. There is a large selection of desserts, so kids might enjoy the place. Recommended mostly for the atmosphere and the politeness of the personnel rather than the food itself.

Als je goed, leuk en mooi wilt lunchen: ga naar Le Chamarel. Wat zit je daar mooi. Perfecte service, normale prijzen en prima kwaliteit!

The food at Canton is really awesome. The service is OK and the prices are more than reasonable. I really recommend this restaurant.

For me the best example of Mauritian hospitality. Waiters are very helpful in explaining the menu and suggesting. The quality of ingredients is really high and for this quality, the prices are more than affordable. Really good food, good service and affordable prices.
