I had chinese food in countless number of restaurants in our island but Happy Dragon offers the best chinese food u can possibly eat. You can feel that the dishes were prepared with care and attention. Awesome Starters to be recommended: Poulet Croustillant, Crevette croustillant, sesame poisson, calamar fondant, calamar saffran. The best dish in this restaurant is indeed the 'bol renverse special' and the taste is out of this world. The main dishes (Black bean fish, calamar/crevettes sautee, tofu with veggies) also are very tasty. The staff are also very warm and welcoming. High Quality food for reasonable prices. It will definitely be worth your money. Try it and see for yourself.

Visited the place "a l'improviste" but was not deceived. With a convivial family atmosphere the place offers a rapid service with quality food. I highly recommend anyone visiting the restaurant to have a taste of the soups available which are delicious. Overall good rating and great value. Will visit again.

Hot Stone Grill is known for its great steaks, ranging from Australian fed, Angus and Kobe Wagyu. The atmosphere and decor is very nice with a good welcome. Food quality is excellent, providing a particular experience (hot stone plate) to enjoy your meal done according to your preference. Service however could have been better with only two waiters attending the packed restaurant, attitude also could have been improved from that perspective. Otherwise, the food is great. I personally highly recommend to reserve beforehand.

A mon gout, la meilleure boulangerie et pâtisserie de l'ile Maurice. Lorsque l'on arrive sur place, nous disposons d'un parking, à l'intérieur une vue sur la cuisine ( ce qui est très intéressant) et une équipe toujours souriante. Enfin leurs gâteaux d'anniversaire sont vraiment délicieux.... NE VOUS PRIVEZ PAS ET ALLEZ VOUS REGALER!!!

I bought Burger,nuggets,Fiver,FingerChips From Quatrebornes KFC on 16th sept 2014.burger was not at all good since the burger patties were very salty and i have to throw all the 3 burgers ,the Fiver pieces were not at all cooked properly and on top of that fingerchips were tasting as if it is fried in an very old oil . previously when i ordered chicken popcorn , they just cust some crispy strips and put in a box and give it back to me.the overall service is disastrous.

Great place for fresh sea food. You will get fresh Mauritian specialities depending on the fishing season. Special mention to Mr Ah Yan for his excellent and friendly service. Will visit again.

"Le Lucky Strike Employees are unethical" THE WORST BOWLING EXPERIENCE They have only 4 bowling alleys and on each alley they place an employee beside for supposedly to "help" you bowl. Bowling is meant to be fun, having a good time among friends but instead at the Le Lucky Strike, staffs bullies. Rather than helping you play, the staffs stand by each other, jokes about the peoples' physical appearances and comments about the conversations which you are having with your friends. The concept of explaining people how to play in fine but its ridiculous to put 4-5 staffs standing when there are ONLY 4 alleys which is relatively small compare to other bowling place. It is seriously annoying having staffs standing behind you and making jokes when your there just to have fun and chill with friends.

Great place to be with family and friends for value for money food in a nice Portuguese ambiance... Enjoyed the quarter chicken with a crispy garlic bread and chips, stealing some spoons of Cataplana from my wife's dish and finish with some salads just to make it healthy :p Perfect Dinner!

I have been at great delights twice & spent a nice time on each occasion. The food is also good and most of the waiters know their job. The only issue is that it has limited parking...

I was accompanied with my whole family, my lovely wife, sister, brother, sis & brother in law-Mahomed!! mum & dad. Foods was very excellent... Service, top top especially Mr Mike who is doing a marvelous work there.To be honest, this chinese should rate NO 1 in Mauritius!!

I purchased an amount of Rs360, only 1 ketchup sachet & 1 chilli sachet was given, when I asked for more condiments, the cashier told me that I should pay for the extra condiments, and she told me that such decision was taken by the management. Do you think it is appropriate to make the client pay for extra condiments?

I went there for a morning meal at 10.30/11 on a Wednesday. After hesitating for a few minutes for a grilled fish, I was confirmed it was frozen and went for a Creole Calamari recipe with rice at nearly Rs400. Quite a disappointing experience I could feel the back taste of a frozen meal and the recipe itself lacked of spices. I was literally tomato sauce, with tiny pieces of overcooked potatoes. That's it - nothing creole, no spices, no intention or interest to cook and to please. I swear it was like a ready meal put in the microwave. The waitress was very friendly though. For the atmosphere, there was none from the restaurant itself, but I liked the view. In fact I always wanted to have a meal there, but I guess, while thats the only restaurant I tried on this side, I would go to another one but for a drink. I guess its a tourist trap; sad - such a nice location.

I was at Domaine, for the first time, yesterday with my family. We ordered drinks, which came quite quickly. Starters also came after a 10 minutes wait with a lot of confusion. There were 4 vegetarians in our group and 2 vegetable soup were ordered, however to our surprise, the waitress brought two bowls of chicken soup in front of the vegetarians. We then had to wait for the veg soup to be brought to the table. We then ordered our main course meals. Ordering was fine. Waiting was excruciating. We ordered the main at 19:45 and at 22:00, there was still no sign of food, we only had empty plates in front of us and nearly empty glasses of drinks. We asked the waitress and were told it would be there in 10 minutes. We waited, while our hunger and impatience started taking over. Once, finally, the main course came. Some of the food was warm, not hot as it should be. The vegetarians in our group ordered lentil soup, vegetables fried, and farata. Luckily for the vegetarians, their food came first to the tables. While the meat-eaters had to wait another 10 minutes. When one member of family (vegetarian) started having the lentil soup, she noticed something rough and hard texture in the soup while in her mouth. She took it out and put it on the nearest plate. Horribly that rough/hard textured material were pieces of crab scales/body in the lentil soup. We went to the counter and asked to speak to the manager. The person at the counter said she will call the chef. The supposed 'chef' (a guy in black jeans and t-shirt with a bowler hat) came to speak to us. We told him we found this and asked what happened and we said we will not be paying for this cheap disgusting service, the only response from the 'chef' was, without ANY apology whatsoever for the fact that a vegetarian just found crab pieces in their lentil soup in their restaurant, said he will remove all the food from our tables, which he did get the waitress to do. They took all the remaining food off the table, some partly eaten, some not. We had our drinks and left without giving them a penny. That restaurant does not deserve a single penny for the cheap disgusting service they provide. I still wonder, how can one have crab pieces in a vegetarian lentil soup. What the hell actually goes on in Domaine's kitchen? Are they mixing remainings from other people's plates to serve to other customers? Where is the hygiene and ethic? And lastly, what did they do with the foods they removed from our table? Most probably, someone else must have had it, unknowingly. Avoid this restaurant like the plague! You will never guess what you can get in the food you order nor will you know where the food came from!

I've been lucky enough to visit Domaine Anna 3 times over the years, on holidays to Mauritius. Just back from recent holiday and their standard, if anything, has improved yet further. From taking the time to discuss menus for a large party earlier in the day, to fantastic service in the evening, the staff could not have been more polite, helpful & attentive. The food was absolutely superb - we ordered a set seafood meal that everyone, from small children to elderly relatives, enjoyed immensely. The highlight for me was the lobster, but all the dishes were superb. The scenery and ambience is wonderful - if you go on holiday to Mauritius, you simply must visit this restaurant - it is unique. I'm already looking forward to our next visit !

Visited during recent holiday in Mauritius, having previously had great meal there 10 years ago. We weren't disappointed. We were a party of 12 including children, but the service was prompt and excellent. The waiters were helpful with the menu items, and everyone was delighted with their food choice. Although now back in England, I would gladly travel back to Grand Baie just for another taste of the baked crab & braised palm heart ! Hopefully not another 10 years until our next visit !
