Great place to be with family and friends for value for money food in a nice Portuguese ambiance... Enjoyed the quarter chicken with a crispy garlic bread and chips, stealing some spoons of Cataplana from my wife's dish and finish with some salads just to make it healthy :p Perfect Dinner!

We went there yesterday to celebrate my mum's birthday. After being served the menus, we waited 15 mins for a waiter to take our order (we wanted some suggestions but we were so hungry, thus we finally make our menu) ... Our waiter seems annoyed with his colleagues because they were not collaborating Drinks arrived after 10 minutes with 1 reconfirmation in between and we waited 10 minutes for food ... Total time 35 minutes before you have your meal. Food was very good though the most expensive platter (a skewer with 5 pieces of chicken) I would have loved to have a side dish like roasted vegetables and bread inclusive ... Fortunately I pay for some garlic bread as well! We left a tip for the waiter because we appreciated that he came twice to inquire if we are OK. Overall it's a good restaurant but you can feel that there's a lack of personnel and they can't give a dedicated service!

Je suis un habitué du restaurant namaste, certes, le prix est elevé, mais la qualité est au rendez-vous. Hier soir, nous avons diné à ce restaurant, les grillades du tandoor en entrée sont un véritable délice, le poulet est fondant, l'agneau aussi, sans les morceaux de gras que l'on retrouve ailleurs. La lumiere est faible, à repenser peut-tre, mais l'ambiance cree par les vieux murs de pierre, les chandeliers et une douce musique traditonnelle indienne est tres agreable ! Nos plats se font attendre, mais les serveurs sont a l'ecoute et agreables. Le plat arrive, servit dans de petits bols en cuivre tout a fait atipiques. La nourriture est delicieuse, on ne lesine pas sur la quantite, les morceaux de poulet sont gros et les parts aussi ! Comme dessert, une glace indienne delicieuse, joliment presentee avec une feuille de menthe. Une vertiable experience, a refaire !

Moi qui croyais faire une bonne experience culinaire et qui voulais déguster un bon plat indien. Je suis extremement déçu de mon repas. Apart la qualité d'un plats (sur quatre) qui etait moyen, le reste fut catastrophique pour le prix qu'on paye. Le service laisse a désirer car les serveurs sont incapable de vous répondre directement sans faire l'aller-retour en cuisine. Ils connaissent pas les plats car ils sont incapable de les reconnaitre quand ils vous le servent. Le responsable de salle n'est pas professionnelle. L'agneau est sec et froid et le comble, c'est quand le responsable de salle m'as répondu que c'est normale que l'agneau soit sec. La salle est sombre et c'est vraiement désagreable. Enfin meme le nan est pas terrible. Grand changement a faire s'il veulent continuer a travailler.

Bonjour, Je suis une habituée du Restaurant Namasté. Depuis que je suis à Maurice, cela fait bientot 6 ans, j'ai visité différents restaurants dont je ne citerai pas les noms, mais laissez moi vous dire, que ce restaurant est le meilleur parmis les autres. Pour le prix que je paie, je suis satisfaite de ce que je mange. Pour moi c'est un restaurant qui mérite d'etre parmi les numeros 1 à Maurice. A chaque bouchée, vous découvez des saveurs indiennes, c'est pas épicée en plus. J'ai gouté à tous le poulet, poisson, agneau et les plats vegetariens, tout est excellent.Les Naan sont un délices surtout ceux qui sont fourrés. Je me sens chez moi là bas, et je ne pense pas changer de restaurant. De plus bientot je feterai mon anniversaire de mariage chez Namaste, car le service est remarquable.

Slt. J'ai été diné 2 fois à ce restaurant et j'ai bien aimé l'accueuil des hotesses. C'est vrai que les plats sont un peu lents à arrivés mais quand on mange, c'est succulent. J'ai meme mis les couverts de coté pour manger avec les doigts, comme le font tradtionnellement les hindous. Je voudrai bien recommencer....

Hi, I knew the restaurant well, as i made my reception party over there. It was very nice and friendly.The food was great. Starting with small snacks during the cocktail,then with grilled, main course was fabulous and i get a very beautiful and big wedding cake.The service was excellent, its a fabulous memory and when i will be back to Mauritius, I will come again. Thank Restaurant Namaste team.

Very pleasant atmosphere, nice and polite waiters. Absolutely delicious food. A bit pricey but i think the quality of the food is totally worth it. However, i was not impressed y the drink that i chose, it was a lassi even tho my friend was very fond of hers.

We had a wonderful time at namaste restaurant on the 29th dec for our end of year party.the food was superb, the crew was very adorable and rapid. a special thanks to Jenifer/shamila for her very lovely and close support which made our party a very big success.very good ambiance.Wish you lots of customers. I got a very unpleasant dinner yesterday 12 Jan 2019 at Namaste Restaurant Soflo. To my surprise I found a small cockroach in the meal 'Murghe Stew'. Me and my family ate about half the meal when I found a cockroach. This was disgusting.. Can you imaging how sickening it was.. I advise everyone not to venture this restaurant. I also hope that someone qualify from the ministry of health, reading this message take an action on this concern for the sake of hygienic.

First off, amazing and delicious food, great service and great atmosphere. The entrance is very cozy and would totally recommend to others. Worth a visit again and best Indian food out there.

I went to Namasté of Caudan with my kids last Saturday. Even though there were a lot of guests, they found a way to welcome us so warmly and we had a nice table. Food was amazing even my kids are still talking about it! Food, service, atmosphere and welcome, everything was just 'wow'. Waiters were always eager to help us and gave a great service. We are really looking forward to go there again next time. All the best to you all and good continuation!!

The place is very well situated, open air, in the middle of the habour front, with view on the sea and town centre. Very affordable dishes and unique tastes. Love the Masala Dosas made there. A visit is recomended. :)

Excellent food and great taste and even better priced coming originally from India and staying in London now I have eaten all but this definitely comes in top 10. Keep it up definitely a must visit place in Mauritius!
