HI, I went there for my birthday, Foods not so bad but we have to wait for long time for food to come. And the waitress are very slow to serve.

We (wife and 2 kids) went to the place on 18th February, 2012. We are vegetarians. Out of few veg options panner items were not there. Juices were very bad. Only 1 A/c was working. Very hot inside. only 2 staff very slow service. Pizza Not Good. Will not go back

I've been at Lambic several times. Lately there seems to be new faces working there. The quality of the service seems to have suffered a bit... Fortunately the food is still excellent and the beers OMG it's just great...I'll be back again for sure I just hope that the quality of the service will meet the standards it had before. Till then Cheerzzzz

nous avons été très bien accueillis,aucun reproche pour le repas.Mais surprise au moment de l'addition,nous avons payé une autre taxe de 15% en plus.Pourtant sur la carte il était écrit (nos prix sont sujet de la taxe inclu ).le patron c'est expliqué en mélangeant; taxe gouvernementale ; tva ; taxe pour l'alcool . Dommage .

Exellent restaurant avec un cadre magnifique,une cuisine rafinée,un personnel trés professionel et sympatique ainsi que le patron ! nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir, A bientot !

I wished I had known this place sooner. I felt welcome the moment I stepped in and boyyy was the food ever delicious!!!! The setting is very beautiful, cozy and very clean. I will definitely go back ... so many varieties to chose from. And best of all, everything is affordable. Great place and Great Food!!!

Service was slow and they got our drinks orders very mixed up, they were frustrated by our us for this??! Food was so tasteless pasta dishes in particular fruit de mer and asparagus and marlin fume, no seasoning at all....sauces plain and bland. Pizza fruit de mer had a very odd taste not fresh..did not eat it. The outdoors atmosphere is great apart from the fact that many people smoke whilst you are eating..if u like this fine! the bill was 3,200 for 3 people which for just pizza and pasta is very overpriced, plus it was not even quality pizza pasta. The only good thing was the chocolate cake at the end.

The Pizza'a here are, i would say the best ive had in grand baie, they are authentic to italian cuisine even though the owner is french. i ordered a salad nicoise, unusual as the potato had been mixed in the dressing first then added to the green part of the salad, tasted good though. Pizza fruit de mer was very tasty and fresh . all in all a lovely lunch. i did not know they did steaks here so will certainly return to sample!

We had a tum yum soup which was excellent. We also took chicken satay, cantonais rice, chicken green curry and honey lamb which was equally good. Price was affordable. Atmosphere was very pleasant, nice soothing music. You could choose to sit inside and you could see the chefs at work or you could choose to sit on the balcony. Highly recommended for families or couples on any occasion. So far this was the best thai restaurant we went on the island and we shall go there again.

The atsmosphere is fantastic, view! Climate, it's perfect. I was expecting fine dinning menu n service. I more less saw a bistro kind of food.. It's nt the best value food..

We tried the Menu of the day- 800Rs plus VAT. It included a starter, main, dessert and coffee. The salad, on which they tossed smoked prawns was a delicious combination. For main we had the raviolo and the fish curry dish, which is accompanied by many root vegetables that are a staple of the Mauritian diet. Dessert was a great Creme Brule. We also received some "extra treats" that were very nice-selection of warm breads, two types of chili, chocolates and pastries. The service was wonderful and attentive.

I enjoyed the BEER and the Friday Live Music everyfriday nite,the waitress are friendly. The Best Pub in Mauritius.

We were a large group and this seemed to confuse the waiter slightly, as there was not enough cutlery etc,they did provide a baby chair though.. anyway we ordered finally and the food did arrive in good time. The fish was ALL fried though, which was unfortunate as apparently they can GRILL the fish, they need to ask customers how they would like their fish to be cooked surely?, after all they are a fish/seafood specialist. we would have ordered dessert but at 150rps for an ice cream its far too expensive! Service needs to be improved as we had to ask for everything, from tomato sauce to chilli sauce etc. We would have tried the sushi but was not sure how good it would be anyone tried it??.. Prawns were the highlight of the meal succulent and creamy delicious!

Despite trying on numerous occasions we've never managed to get a pizza delivered. First time I called, I was told that they would call me back and call back they did...more than 2 hours later!!!Second time I called I was told that they didn't have anyone available to deliver! Third time, I was told that they were too busy to do delivery that day!!!I tried for the fourth time today and nobody even answer the phone!!!I wander if i'm gonna try again??!

Lundi 5 mars 2012. Nous sommes arrivé ma femme et moi vers 13 h 00. Voyant que des personnes arrivées après nous passaient commande nous avons appelé le garçon. Après Trois quard d'heure d'attente nous constatons qu'une autre table arrivée bien après nous était déjà servie. Nous avions commandé deux plats identiques : Carry de poulet. Après de multiples réclamations nous avons décidé de partir ! La seule chose positive est qu'il nous ont fait grace du paiement de la bouteille d'eau et que nous n'avons pas pris de poids. Pas grave mais pas cool ! J Luc et Myriam

Je suis agréablement surpris par la prestation des plats et du service dans ce restaurant mystique. On en a beaucoup entendu parler et on y est allé , on y reviendra c'est sur. La cuisine est toujours raffinée, le service très attentionné et le choix des produits a été choisis judicieusement. Dommage que la salle n'y a pas bonder de monde. A bientôt et bon courage

The food is ok but too oily. Also, the seats are not appropriate, they made my back ache.

Savoureuses pizzas, lorsque je suis dans le Nord, je ne les prends que là , j'ai du essayer beaucoup d'autres adresses, mais rien de comparable aux pizzas de La Cigale !
