Was coming down, was so hungry.... It was my first visit there... I was amazed by the view... Had a really nice lunch... and most important, SMOKING was not prohibited... Yahooooooooooooooooo...... Cheers A must go Restaurant for lovers...

A very nice restaurant! I'd gone there with my family and we had 2 pizzas which were finger licking good ( I LOVE pizzas and I can say that those are the best pizza I ever eat!!) and the dessert was awesome! The owner and his wife are very smart as well as their employees!The service is rapid and the price is also very good! I will probably go there this weekend to watch the World Cup with friends. Nothing could be better than Foot, Friends and Great Pizzas! ;) But well don't trust me, go and taste it ;))

while walking through the village of trou aux biches my family and i came upon this gem of a restaurant. down to earth owner, deon, served us food that was excellently prepared and very tasty. south african music was playing in the background and the service was realy realy good. you get realy good value for money. we will defenitely come back and also refer others to come.

This resto is very nice, I like going there.... It's owner is a very nice guy. The resto is always full.. I like going there bacause of it's very good 'grillade de poulet'', & because i'm very comfortable there.... very nice........................

A good resto....... I like it, it's 'mi-foon frite' is very delicious, I like it very much. It's on the main road, that's nice to find it!

Price very very very expensive..Food not bad , desert very bad (coffee and banana flavoured ice-cream).Birthday cake was so small that some of my guests did not recieve..I regret having organized my birthday there

I agree with Regular, the service does need some attention but where else can you go and feel so much a part of the family. Unfortunately "Regular Too" should maybe focus on having a good evening which the beach house certainly provides, especially after being here 3yrs, why torment yourself by frequenting a restaurant where you are ever so critical. I have met the owner and trust me my comments are unbiased. The owner is relaxed but demands professionalism from he's staff, from manger/manageress to waiters. I seriously doubt if the manageress has been drunk that she would be capable of doing the exceptional job she does and to be daft enough to loudly admit she is drunk when each night the owner is at he's restaurant. The beach house has gone through many changes including management and I'm certain many many regulars and visitors will agree the beach house has found the right combination from The chef to waiters and management. Well done everyone at the beach house.

The restaurant is well decorated, very nice, good food and the service is also good.

Nice place to eat with the family, new decor although waiting time for being served is a bit high but food is good. Drawback: Bathroom is a bit small and does not really meet the standard.

That's a really beautiful place with a superbe setting. The waterfall with tables around is wonderful. The food was really really good and we received quite a good service. One drawback maybe was the price of the food. I personally thought that their prices were a bit too high as compared to other restos around. But if are looking for a romantic place with a beautiful setting I would definitely recommend it!!

I loved the place. Although most ppl say it is overcrowded, got to tell you I loved the atmosphere. Maybe because I was there with a grp of friends but it is a very lively and joyful place. Although I would not totally recommend you this place if you are with ur lover and looking for some romantic place. Let's face it, most of us go to restos for the food not to see people sitting quietly or whatever. The food is really nice and very affordable too. We received quite a good service and enjoyed it. I would recommend you this place especially if you are with friends or want to celebrate a bday party or something..;)

I agree with Regular with the service. We have been there a many a times and although the service isnt great, you get used to it. I must admit that the main reason why we go there is for the cocktails. They are by far the best that I have had on the Island to date and my husband and I have been here for almost 3 years now. I would like to add though that on occassion when we have been there at night, the manageress has often either been drinking or who knows what and is rude to some customers and to staff, so much so that we look at each other and cant believe that she has just admitted to customers that she is drunk. Personally, I do not think that this is how she should be acting towards people of any kind but then again, if the owner is fine with that then thats obviously how they see fit to be running their business. The other manager is very polite and he always pays attention to our table which is great. The live entertainment is fantastic with everyone singing along and sometimes customers getting up to dance so all in all, its a great place to be. The staff do have issues amongst themselves and sometimes scream and shout at each other infront of customers. My favourite is the tall guy, Donovan, always putting on a performance and joking with us and Linley,always smiling. I would definately recommend people asking for their service as the girl waiters are quite sour with long faces. Go and enjoy your time there, drink the great cocktails but try stay away from the rude manageress though...

Went to this place early this week, was so surprised to find out the owner is such a nice man. He talks to all his guests and makes sure people are happy. The dishes were huge and greal value for month. I had the shell for stater, which was very nice-full of cream and fresh sea food. The main course i had Durado and my wife the steak. Both were excellent. The atmosphere is very casual.

What a little gem of a restaurant! Good food, good company, excellent service. If you want a fantastic burger this is the place to go, the calamari is heavenly as well. Friendly atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble for the owners Deon & Annemarie. Very reasonably price menu, absolutely on my favourite list!

I've lived in Mauritius for just over 2 years and only discovered La Cigale the other night with dinner with friends. The service was sharp, witty and excellent with humourous waiters making your night even better. We had pizza's which were the best we've tasted on the island. No wonder when you drive past the place is always full. Great place - I think I've just found my favourite pizza place!
