Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 chicken or 2 drumsticks and 2 wings
  • 1/2 large onion
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 and a half tablespoons of clove powder
  • 3 dry chilis
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 glass of dry red wine

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken into pieces.
  • In a pot, heat about 2 tablespoons of oil.
  • Add the crushed garlic, the minced onion, the cinnamon sticks, the cloves powder, dry chilis, salt and pepper and stir.
  • Add the chicken pieces and mix.
  • Pour in the wine and simmer over low heat.
  • Add a little water from time to time until the chicken is cooked.
  • Serve with rice.
