Une escale très appréciable à Port Mathurin. Un îlot de verdure et de calme à l'écart des rues très commerçantes. Un havre de paix à l'accueil charmant. Table soignée, cuisine goûteuse et service attentionné. Prix raisonnables. Au choix, plat du jour ou Menu à la carte. Notre première escale ayant été convaincante, nous y sommes retournés avec grand plaisir et recommandons ce restaurant Escale Vacançes à qui visitera Port Mathurin. Le petit plus, wifi dans l'établissement ce qui n'est pas partout le cas à Rodrigues. Adresse à retenir, qu'on se le dise. Anne

tres tres calme en pleine nature pour ceux qui aime se destresser. essayez le vindaye de cerfs,c'est unique au gout. y a pa grand chose au menu mais sa en vaut la peine. j'ai adorer.

The Finest Bakery you shall get in Mauritius.. Any theme cakes, they can make... Also the tastiest cakes you will get around Mauritius... For all occassions:- Weddings, Engagements, Anniversaries, Birthdays, etc... You Name It, They Make It... Definitely advisable to try it.. you will not regret it... We usually go to First on saturdays for Dim Sums. Having tried dim sums at a number of place, I can vouch for the taste, quality and value for money. The starters are also very good and above all service is impecable. Recommended, especially for their dim sums

This restaurant serves shark fin soup, this is not acceptable in this day and age. Please urge all Chinese restaurants to remove this dish off their menu. I won't be going back, or recommending the restaurant until they do.

Was at fish aways this evening with some friends. We ordered the sailor's combo and the fish pops! The cashier, Gemma, had a sulking face and was Taking our orders as if she did not want to work! Not even a smile or a welcoming attidude!! Don't you train you staffs in customer service ?? Adding to that, she told us that the fish pops are normally served before the main dish but here in Cascavelle they stopped doing that and the fish pops are served together with the main menu as they need to follow the rules set!! How is that rule even relevant?? Furthermore, she asked us if we want to have sweet chilli, mayonnaise or tartar sauce at the price of 10 roupies a small amount in the box! Do restaurants do that nowadays!!? Do we need to go to monoprix and buy our mayonnaise and chilli before ordering at fish aways. ?? Looks like your motto is : scare the customers or even never come eat at fish aways again! Oh the last best part , we were told that our meal will be ready in 10 mins! We ordered at 20:17 and its 20:43 , we are still waiting!!

Amazing Indian Food, offers tremendous value for money. I Had such delicious Indian meal after a long time...This is a newly opened restaurant and was recommended to me by couple of my Mauritian colleagues!!! Though I was more interested to have Indian Tandoori preparations, but I believe they offer some authentic Local Food as well. A must visit place....

Very nice food. Love the concept of street foods that are available there...Awesome pani puri. My husband's never tasted better dhall tharka. Real value for money. The place was recommended by a few friends who also loved it. Will surely go there again. :) Keep going Flame N Grill.

Amazing food quality and taste. I would say its one of the best Indian cuisine i have tasted outside India. I ordered 3 starters and wanted to continue on them itself. The main course was delicious and Rasmalai was truely devine. Keep up the good work Flame and Grill.

Very nice fine cuisine with good service.. However no parking facilities but I would anyway recommend this restaurant for the quality of its food.

Un restaurant d'exception, avec une cuisine d'exception. De la veritable cuisine francaise à Maurice, d'une fraicheur parfaite,... Bref l'adresse pour les Français souhaitant renouer l'espace d'un repas avec la France, ou pour les Mauriciens qui souhaite decouvrir la France et cela sans les 12h00 de vol ! Les chambres de l'hotel sont d'une propreté irréprochable, et avec beaucoup de charme. Si l'hotel n'est pas sur la plage, la proximité y est agréable.

I had an awesome moment there yesterday! the food and service were impeccable! I would highly recommend this restaurant for business dinners or just for chilling with family and friends!

Good food. Lovely pizza. Beer OK. Aweful service. You constantly have to leave your table and go to talk to the waiter. As we were there for dinner, we were expecting complimentary bread - it never came. I had to go to the floor manager and ask him. That is a disgrace for a place like that. You guys should really consider training your staff (waiters) on customer service! To end this review - your bill takes 20 mins to come (we were the last clients upstairs - one waiter and two waitresses not even looking at us; they were dreaming). Not sure I will go again.

Went there for a drink and snacks this Sunday evening and was shocked by how rude the employees are and how poor the overall service were. First of all there were only couple of tables occupied yet we had to wait 10 minutes to get seated, all other tables having the “reserved” tag. Then the waiter forgot one of our food orders and we waited another half an hour before we reminded him that our order was still not delivered. The waiter was rude and insisted that we only had one order. His attention was focused on the foreigners at another table. Other waiters were also slow to react/respond as if they don’t want to work there. Worse when I order finally arrived it was uncooked. I will not recommend this place for any occasion be it with your friends, family or for corporate events.

Best quality food and super service, like it should be !!!
