I visited KFC Quatre-Bornes on 14.09.2016. The cashier was more interested in looking outside and no greetings or smile from her. She demonstrates poor customer relations skills. She also carries on personal conversations with other staff members while clients and customers wait. She served the food and waited for at least 5 minutes for the drink as the cashier went to the back of the restaurant. The time she came back, the food was cold and when asking her to change it, she looked at me in a very unsocial manner. The time we received the food, no tomato ketchup or napkins were provided. We had to go back downstairs and we were given only one, which was ion the till and the cashier just went back to continue her conversation with her fellow colleagues. I really feel that KFC management needs to provide CRM and Customer Service Skills Training Programs for the employees.

Tucked onto the verge of Chamarel cliff, this restaurant offers a unique and sensational view of the paradise island's south west. My fiancee and I went there for a birthday lunch on the 21 Sept and our expectations were nicely exceeded. The service was very good and the staff showed tremendous hospitality towards their Customers. The food bore the touch of a genuine chef and was simply excellent. We were impressed and really liked the place. Keep the good work up and we shall definitely come back.

Ordered 1 beef king steers.The cashier did not know if cheese was included in price.The latter asked the cook and he replied to me rudely.After 10 mins I collected the burger which was slightly warm and not comparable to the last king steers i ate 2 months ago.The burger was really thin as if they sliced 1 burger into 2.I could eat it without a wide open mouth.It was like a normal burger.At the end i was still hungry.My wife had a beef steer burger which was twice thicker. Kindly make an anonymeous order with the same team of this evening..

One of the yearly highlight when coming to Mauritius is lunch at The Chamarel restaurant! This year we were very disappointed, because the renovation has transformed the unique atmosphere, style and menu into a common restaurant. Fortunately the charming and professional staff and the breathtaking view are still the same. We are sorry to have lost a precious gem. Hopefully, the minds behind that change won't do any further adjustments to a style that is everywhere seen and maybe bring back the chocolate cake!

Hello, I were shocked to know that the "Happy Hour for 50% discount on cocktails EVERY DAY" is a con! I were told that due to "peak season" this is no more available but only from "November"? Very disappointing. Also, the prices you have on the menu online is not the same offered at the restaurant. Please check. The Calamar croustillant on your menu online is Rs160 while in the restaurant its Rs 180. (EXCL VAT) The taste was not great at all. Thank You. D.N.

it is a pleasant place situated in the Centre of Port Louis. The service was good and meals reasonably priced. We had lunch here a few times while on lunch break. The place had a buzzing atmosphere and busy, probably what you'd expect from an amazing resto. The food was perfect, modest portions and speedy service which always makes for a better atmosphere.

Very well cooked and spicy food and the waiter was a pro!! Well done!

Had a very bad experience.. went their but the pizzas I want was not available. On the 3rd pizza I chose I got a positive answer. I called today for delivery but no manners of talking. How rude. Illiterate people working out there. Will not advise people to go there!!!!

Heard from others about the food and service. I am not disappointed and it is one of the best indian cuisine. Unfortunately i didnt know about the mehfil and buffet of saturday evening. I hope to go back there very soon.

Don't be put off by the entrance. Restaurant is upstairs, and has a view over the bay. Had the fruits de mer paella, but found it very dry.

We have gambas each time we come here! We highly recommend it for seafood lovers. The people are very friendly. Price is affordable and the quantity is correct. One of our favorite restaurants!

Been to the restaurant with the family (wife and 2 kids) Saturday week at about 7.45pm. After ordering for food, we were having our drinks and waiting for food. There is another larger family who came about 15 minutes after us. They put in their order too. Surprise surprise, one of the owner or worker, comes back with their food and tell them, that he is looking after them and that they would not be waiting for food. I did not say anything. About 15 minutes later, still nothing. So I went to ask what was happening and how much longer it would take. Uninterested, he said that he will check. About 8.45 I went back to ask and I could hear someone else complaining about some people are being served where as others are just left out. So I asked again and he just said it is coming. Really unacceptable that they pick and choose who to serve first. If you are a usual or a large group, they would serve you, but if you are a small group, you are ignored. This is unfortunately the despicable attitude that people face. I just left the restaurant and paid for the drinks consumed.

Very friendly family run Chinese restaurant. We have been using over a number of years and have always enjoyed excellent food. We highly recommend this restaurant for both Mauritians and tourists. From simple local food to sizzling dishes you will love it all. Enjoy!
