White Shell Lounge & Restaurant reviewed by: Amina on 01/05/2013 I've been to white shell restaurant recently and I don't understand why there is this bad comment. Am sure you've been mistaken as the food was really very good. Value for money!! The atmosphere is also very very nice... Can go there without any hesitation! Service wise is quiet slow and on top of that when we went for lunch, we were the only clients..... Bad experience and definitely wouldn t tell anybody to go there. One word describes the decor, ambiance, food, service and view, “Awesome!” Set in the stunning seaside location of Flic en Flac, this place is ideal for a family, romantic or work dinner. And, nothing could quite match the experience I enjoyed tasting my favorite food, “calamar croustillant” and chips accompanied by a cocktail, while looking out to sea & sunset. There’s a large choice of dishes varying from Mauritian, Chinese, Indian to BBQ and grill. Food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxing and the music fits in perfectly. I really appreciated my evening. It was just “wow!” As for the bill for this lovely experience, it was almost painless. The food was quite good and the service unnoticeable. Only a week later I found out that they had charged 1000 EUR!!!! from my credit card. When I went to the place it was of course closed down. It stayed closed down for the next two weeks. When I contacted the restaurant... Read More » by phone they refused to tell me for what my card was charged. They refused to tell it even to the police. Of course I notified the police ASAP and they visited the place with me many times to see if it had opened up. Horrible exprience and I advise everybody to stay away from this place!
