Talking Drums Flame Grill

In fact, it was the first time that we ate at your restaurant but frankly we were a bit dissapointed. It took us too long to have our food served. We were even about to cancel the dessert also. The food was just ok though we were expecting something of higher quality.

Chinese Wok Restaurant

I've always had praises for Chinese Wok, but not tonight. Ordered Peking Duck and was left very disappointed. At a whopping cost of MU1150, the duck was dry and was tasted nowhere close to Peking Duck. The duck even tasted like it was not roasted on the same day. My friends have all raved about CW's Peking Duck as being the best of Mauritius...I would err with caution..

..maybe it was bad luck for me, but that duck was for lack of a better word- abysmal. If I had not ordered the duck for take-away, it would have still been sitting at the restaurant. And do check your take-away box to make sure that there are enough condiments...

Rando's Italian Pizzeria

Forget about other restaurants, this is THE pizza of Grand Baie. In these hard times you can't find good service around Grand Baie better than personal from the owner itself which really cares! I really don't understand how other pizza restaurant owners let themselves so down... Check this place out as it's currently my favorite one.

Sirokan Garden Resto

Good quality of sea food - i would rather say outstanding. Do try the Giant Crabs, they are superb. But the prices are way too high!
i would recommend it once, but not twice!!

Chez Pepe

In 2011 we returned to Chez Pepe twice as the food was very very good. Lovely view and good service.
In 2012 the experience was different. The food was still very good but we were surrounded by LOADS of flies. We couldn't eat at all. We rushed through our meal and got out of the restaurant.
Not sure if we'll return in 2013.

La Voglia Matta (chez marco)

We dined at La Voglia Matta 5 times during our stay in Mauritius this year. The pizza and pasta is excellent and great value for money!
They are also happy to make changes to any pizza.
We LOVE the restaurant. If you are in the North - don't miss it!

King Dragon Restaurant

I have been there more than a dozen times and the Chinese food is excellent. The service depends on whether you go there during peak time or not. You have a better service when its not crowded. Food is served within 20minutes and King prawn is their speciality. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Nice choice to have family/friends gatherings and birthday parties :)

Xindix Nightclub

I must say they play great music..u cannot find a better one who plays indian n western together.

But the place is not well ventilated.Too many smokers which made me feel suffocated n had to rush to the corridors for fresh air. The bar tends to be too crowded at times.

Overall,it was a fantastic night but only poor ventilation prob which annoyed me a lot. The music n djs are supercool so its recommended!!!
